If she breaks it I'm pretty sure she *dies* since it's bound to her soul, with everyone else they're not at risk as the lasso simply just forces them to be truthful. But with Wonder Woman? When I was in High School, the school's library had a reasonably old Wonder Woman comic book, a thick one at that. In one of the episodes, Wonder Woman gets wielded to a boiler like wall and she assumed that she got wielded there by a man because she felt powerless. Once she found out that the wielder was a female, she felt relieved and she regained her strength. So getting tied up by a man or being tied up in general, different procedure, same outcome(depends on the version you go with, honestly).
