Ben Affleck was a treat to us Arkham fans due to how close he resembled Arkham Batman in terms of his physique & aggressiveness, sadly people got offended when he killed people in that warehouse fight(one of the best hand-to-hand combat scenes in superhero films). He deserved a solo film.

A benchmark for lazy acting. Too lazy to work out for the part. So instead we get a skinny Batman who would get his ass kicked by anyone other than a low level street thug. And too lazy to change his performance from Bruce Wayne to Batman. Bruce is supposed to be a charismatic playboy who is the coolest person in the room. Pattinson’s Bruce was an emo weirdo who might as well wore a t-shirt that said “I am Batman”. Read a comic before posting comments about subjects you clearly know nothing about.

And the point you are making about people not knowing how batman is because of them not reading all the comics, dude there are 3 volumes in total when I begun to read them and they begun in the 1940s and are still running, by your logic technically none of the human beings living know about batman, not even the creator as well lol. And if you ask a guy who has read them in the 80s-90s, he wouldn't happen to be knowing about the post crisis issues. So, imo respectfully that argument is just pure BS. And in my opinion he does fairly resemble to how batman was described in year one. So, in my saying I will say that his batman is comic accurate for me, cause opinions are subjective and true to one, and you calling it BS and me calling your opinion BS is subjective to ourselves and the only thing that can be measured on a ground level in them is sanity. Plus, let's say if there is a quantum mechanics question about what is the priniciple of quantum mechanics, and there are two people answering it, one is the guy who has just summarised it and read the prinicple and the other is the guy who has read the whole quantum mechanics. They both would be giving the same answer cause the question is quite literally the most basic question about the field. So, it really doesn't matter if you have read them all or have read none. You can still pretty much tell how Batman is supposed to be, lol.

His Gotham also actually feels like Gotham unlike Nolan’s cheap realistic Chicago city. We also finally got a Batman movie that’s an actual thriller mystery noir like the comics. Not an action crime drama like Nolan’s. Put a side by side picture of year one Batman and Pattinson. They have the same exposed square jawline and they resemble eachother well. Even in year one Bruce would dress up in disguise like how Pattinson does with the drifter outfit so don’t try saying that’s not accurate, he even monologues like the comics for once. Matt reeves clearly understands Batman on a deeper level compared to other directors. You can search up the countless interviews on him talking about batman media/comics.
