I agree, most under rated live action batman movie of all time. For those who have not seen the clips cut out for the theatrical cut look them up on youtube. It completes the story in the movie and makes in make more sense. Would love a uncut version to be fully released.
Of all the goofy stuff that happens in this movie.....the Riddler leaving glue enhanced fingerprints all over his riddles might be the most unbelievable thing lol
This was amazing. The details are so unique, the way the "Deepest Darkest Fears" changed pitch, the Riddler dialogue as you show the Nygmatech base, LOVE IT ! #ReleaseTheSchumacherCut
The film was supposed to be more serious and have the tone of the last 2 movies, despite Tim Burton leaving we were still gonna get a serious film, but the team was forced to make it more child friendly. But I still like this movie despite the bad stuff, I enjoy it.
There's several fan edits of Batman Forever that remove the goofy jokes, insert back the deleted scenes and rearrange some scenes to follow the original script more closely. Those edits can be found on the Fanedits subreddit.
Just Watched It Again Thanks To This. As A Kid, This Was The Best Batman At The Time, Up Until Christian Bale Came Along. Clooney Was Not Good, And Believe It Or Not, Has Actually Apologized For It. To Me He Was Put In A Unfair and Possibly Uncomfortable Environment. Aside From All That, Val Kilmer Was Actually Quite Good, He Was Taken More Seriously As Batman. He’s Definitely A Top 5 For Me As Batman. If He Was In B&R, Maybe It Would’ve Been Better.
Looking back it's a shame they could not bring back Val Kilmer in some cameo like they did Keaton and Clooney. I know he's got cancer but the Top Gun sequel worked around it. What if Kilmer's Batman is the one that retired after Bane broke his back? Something like that.
