Bro I predicted it within the first trailer or two, and I was far from the only one. It was just so obvious, there really wasn’t even a point in hiding Jason’s identity rather than having him just be Red Hood from the beginning.
Yeah, I would much rather they have him be red hood from the get go, as that's a really cool story. It was a bit of an insult to say they created a "new villian" when it was just an old one re-skinned
Imagine Charlie voicing Batman. Joker: “Hello, Bats!” Charlie in his monotonous voice: “Oh, hey there Joker how’ve you been? Listen you gotta go back to Arkham, sorry. We can get a blizzard from Dairy Queen as we’re going though.”
I would totally expect the Joker to be completely on board with that because he most likely wanted inside of Arkham anyways and he gets a free blizzard out of it.
@@iceuffer they made it way too obvious man. I knew that he was Jason the moment I saw his attitude, let alone when they put 3 flashbacks in a row of him getting buttfucked by Joker.
Arkham Knight: "Aim for the plates between his shoulders." Random Grunt: "What about his mouth?" Arkham Knight then immediately kills grunt for questioning his strategy.
As far as actual military training goes, the army don’t teach to aim for the head since it’s much more harder to get a hit on it contrary to what games wants you to believe. They teach their soldiers to aim for the center of mass aka the chest, that’s why the “bat symbol in his chest” trick is very effective is directly using the general training of military shooters against them
The Red Hood Batman movie did a better job with Jason Todd than this game. Mainly because they don't ask "Who's the Red Hood?" Because it's fairly obvious, instead it goes more in depth to why Batman doesn't kill and how Jason Todd came back, and why he became a villain. Also, if you read this Charlie, fans actually voted to kill Jason Todd off in the 80's, which made his comeback 20 years later even more surprising.
The fact that annoyed me personally is that Jason in this game wants to kill Batman which kind of goes against his character in Under the red hood in which he he admits to forgiving Bruce for not saving him. I dont know if it bothered someone else but it didnt make me like Arkham Knight
In "Under The Red Hood"(movie) When Batman is flashing back to Jason Todd's first patrol as Robin and as soon as Jason says "This is the best day of my life." I ALWAYS burst into tears
Actually Tim Drake was the most normal of the Robins. He was a gymnast, fencer(I think), and just general smart kid. If I remember correctly he just got bored and saw a similarity in how Robin did a cartwheel or jump in a way similar to Dick Grayson and was like “Hol up.” Then he found out Bruce Wayne was Batman from there and basically pledged his life to being Robin in the memory of Jason Todd after being killed by joker
Electro Shock nah, Jason was just a street rat who got caught and brought in by Batman. Damien would be more the one with loose screws. He nearly kills Tim right away and current Damien is hypnotizing and basically lobotomizing villains
No no, Tim Drake's parents weren't in the circus. Tim's Dad was killed in a 1v1 with Captain Boomerang. But considering he's a civilian and he managed to kill Captain Boomerang too, kind of a pro gamer move.
“Arkham Knight isn’t from the comics or anything. He was original for this game, right?” Well, that’s what Rocksteady wanted people to think. To say they failed would be an understatement.
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil’s performance’s in the Arkham series is just a beautiful masterpiece. These 2 would make the series a 10/10 even if the game was shit
@@Mister-Red He’s basically saying that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil would make the series a 10 out of 10 even if the games actually suck. Their voice acting and performance is enough.
I really loved how rocksteady was able to crank that open world to be massive and made it feel full of gameplay and not just an empty sandbox the way I've felt with other games and the story is incredible but I think the gameplay got repetitive especially with the batmobile used for basically tank defense side missions
13:00 Charlie comparing chad Robin to his chess mentor Daniel Naroditsky was unbelievably wholesome and forced my hand to write a comment pointing it out. Waayyyy too adorable to shout out "your boy" like that in the video. Making us Blush with this wholesomeness Charlie :D This is the kind of content I subscribe for; beating men senseless and taking time to honor your chess teacher.
Honestly you playing through all the games makes me wanna revisit them. Cause I left a lot of DLC and side stuff like the AR challenges untouched. I just got burnt out on the combat style since every game does it now
Arkham Knight is one of the reasons that i dont get hyped by almost every game that comes nowadays, it was so ahead of its time & fucking awesome... i dont get why some people say it wasnt good, glad to hear charlie saying he likes it more than city cuz me too
@@bernardogarza4358 yes definitely not on citys level and the extent if the batmobile was ridiculous. I always hated the trophies too and thought they took the fun out of completing the game. I think they should have cut them to about like 100 trophies maybe and they should've cut the batmobile militia missions too. I think the arkham knight had potential to be super good and new but they choked. They couldve just made him a mercenary or a student of ras al ghul and i would've been fine with it. One more criticism i got is the boss fights. If they gave us a deathstroke style boss fight for the arkham knight it would have been a highlight in the series but they messed it up. I do think the gameplay and characters aswell as Story make up for it
The fact that Charlie called that it was "a robin" just shows two things: 1) It was predictable 2) Charlie is just a irl Batman, without the batsuit or tech.
Its so fun to watch charlie play this. It makes me want to play the whole game on knightmare again. Ive already played the game 3 times over but what the hell its so fun
Though you are right that Tim Drake is an orphan, I dont believe his parents were the Flying Graysons, didnt his parents die do to like mob related reasons
