Most people would dismiss this scene as just nonsense being flung by the Joker at Batman but every single word he said was 100% true. He explained the nature of the Riddler with perfection. He was also right about Batman. This was a younger Batman who called himself vengeance. He wanted criminals to fear him. He wanted them scared shitless that he may be coming for them next. The Joker knows this so he used this meeting to get at Batman's sense of identity and self-worth because he hasn't caught the Riddler and people are dying in gruesome ways. He's afraid criminals will see him as weak and maybe they don't need to worry about Batman. The Joker gave him a psych evaluation was was on the nose for both Batman and the Riddler. All within a minute of looking at a few pictures of the crime scenes. They don't give the Joker the credit he deserves. Guy is insane, scary and highly intelligent.

He actually looks like someone who's been dropped in acid. It's always some weird perfect chemical that just turns them into clowns in so many iterations. This one feels so real its horrific. Like the clown make up is just a distraction or accent to his horrific disfigurement. I hope we see more of this one.

Played by Barry Keoghan. Can't believe this is a deleted scene. It's terrifyingly brilliant.

Love how the Joker has no qualms about giving Batman (his supposed arch-enemy) his insights. He truly is chaos personified.

Man, this joker has massive potential, he really played the role of the psychiatrist in this scene. This version of Batman is indeed intelligent, most comic book accurate in terms of improvising and being a detective, but damn Joker was objectively spot on, especially when he said Batman believes the riddler's victims deserved it.

Barry Keoghan is genuinely terrifying here. Hope we see more of him as The Joker, for sure.

I like how all the elements of the past Jokers are being put into this actor's take. Very well done.

Probably the most terrifying yet realistic version of joker we'll get

I’m surprised no one has pointed out the line about Riddler being a fan of Batman or that he’s the main course. He’s right in both regards cos Riddler loves Batman and hates Bruce Wayne.

Now this is a Joker. Wow! Completely psychotic and terrifying. Now I know we have seen the Joker a lot but I would love to see this one. This guy did a fantastic job portraying his Joker.

The back and forth at 3:20 is Perfect script writing. They capture the essence of joker and Batman completely

Keoghan has been absolutely killing it these past few years, he deserves an oscar

I love this as a little homage to Will Graham and Clarice Starling’s visits to Hannibal in the first two Hannibal novels. Some even greater evil who can advise the hero on how to deal with the evil they’re currently facing.

The guy playing the Joker here is Barry Keoghan. An Oscar nominated Irish actor. He’s amazing at these types of characters. The mental characters.

I really love how they portrayed the intelligence of both Batman & Joker here. Most movies that portray intelligent characters only show the theatrics of the smart guy showing off their smarts but don’t show the process of them putting together their plan, the homework that goes into their success.

I love Ledgers joker but this guy is on par as well. Very well done. Chilling.

I think Christopher Nolan and Matt Reeves are the only two directors to portray The Joker’s intelligence. For however insane The Joker is his intelligence makes up for it. The way he uses words like “Baroque“ or “meticulous” and is able to read Batman even when he’s wearing his mask an tell he’s angry suggests maybe he derived from an academic background but due to his deformity became secluded and read a lot, studied but driven insane by normal people around him. Society was The Vat of Acid and The Joker was thrown into it.

He’s got the Heath voice and mouth thing going on but he’s a lot more horrifying. Looks like he fell in a vat of acid. I need more of this Joker!!!

I love this for a multitude of reasons. Joker is actually terrifying. He can't be made into some weirdly toxic sex symbol for women. And his appearance matches his level of evil.

Joker and Batman are like two sides of a coin. Both born on the same night. I really like this Joker. Hes smart just like Batman the way he can read Batman with his mask on is impressive and knows what buttons to push to make him mad. What an intelligent dialogue. The two HAVE to meet. But this joker is not for the streets. This is a master puppeteer, and the GPD is hopelessly overmatched. To deal with it requires strategic thinking on Batman's part, but this Joker is not an easy opponent, it's more like a final boss of sorts

This is a different joker, this one feels like a direct opposite of batman, opposing morals, similar knowledge, and the way joker reads batman like a childrens book is epic. He can almost tell batman somewhat knows the joker has a point. This joker feels like a final boss, i cant wait to see how hes used later on.

This scene just goes to show how intelligent Joker is under that facade he wears. That is why people don't take him seriously because they look at his outward appearance and think he is just crazy and all talk.

All the core qualities of the Joker while also being a completely original take on the Joker. I hope they slowly build to him over time instead of having him be the big threat sooner, he should be a background character for the time let Batman grow and develop and then when he comes into the picture it will truly test him mentally. Great quote from Arkham Origins when he first starts dealing with the Joker: “I’ve dealt with psychopaths before, but this is…”

Seriously! This version of Joker is no joke. Although Heath Ledger is lauded as the best Joker to date. This one looks like he could just kill you and not miss a heartbeat! Will be interesting to see if and how he maybe introduced into the Reeve universe.

As much I love and consider Heath Ledger's my favorite performance of all time this is the only Joker portryal to truly, genuinely creep me out and shake me up a bit especially when seeing his face through the glass and how it's out of focus but I think Barry Keoghan may just give Ledger a run for his money. Brilliant take on the character.

I have to say, I really like Robert Patterson's Batman! The guy has some serious acting chops!

There are some great "silence of the lambs" vibes in this scene.

While we all know that joker was born with the burn defect, I think the Chemical bit is still possible, his whole body looks bleached and his hair is falling out kinda like the joker from Gotham, He’s got the red lips and the crazy green hair, all the crazy scars and mangled face and at the very end, we get a very up-close look at him, like I said, we have his bleached face and his crazy eyes. as well as that insane laugh

I hope at some point we see the joker when he breaks out and puts in his white and red makeup. This look is cool in a disturbing realistic way, but I think his performance mixed with the wacky look of the joker will make it perfect.

I would love to have jokers personality and traits (apart from his psychopathic tendencies and murderous intentions), he literally is batmans equal. Intelligent as anything more than he lets on but isn’t serious at all. Like joker always finds a way to keep batman on his toes and in this one he even goes to joker and asks him when he’s supposed to be the worlds greatest detective

I know no-one wants to say anything against the great Heath Ledger's Joker, and I am hesitant to say it either. Joaquin Phoenix's Joker was phenomenal if not better slightly and that's only because Christian Bale brought down Ledger. This guy, who I don't know his name, but in this deleted scene played the best POST Ledger/Joquin joker in Arkham Asylum. This was terrifying and I'm so glad it was filmed.

Love the end scene with the riddler. This does demonstrate the psychosis and the brain but i like the end scene with riddler in and of itself. Excited to see Joker 2 though but this guy has treat potential for more in this batman universe
