honestly, they should've made another film with him as Batman. I mean, after Keaton, he SHOULD've been Batman, cause I could believe him as the Dark Knight: The voice, the sound, his body (which you can totally tell underneath that suit) and the characterization. It was perfect. He even had the dark yet zany comic book feel of the 90s and I loved that. It's a walking orgasm for comic fans and they passed on him? YOU SUCK WARNER BROTHERS!
I like how he beats a few rogues gallery villains in. In my head, this would be like the beginning to a bigger plan on the villains. Like the beginning of Arkham Asylum or a plot where the entire Rogues Gallery goes against Batman in one go.
we can all agree that the four definitive batman movies are, origin -begins, and DK, and as his career progressed- batman, and batman returns, tim burton and nolan were epic, shumacher made toy commercials
Wow this commercial was probably one of the best iterations of Batman on screen like seriously somebody should let the commercial guy know that he is legend and officially one of the legendary on screen Batman right up there with Micheal Keaton. I'd say he did a better job then Val Kimmer.
He's played by Matt McColm, who's a profesisonal stuntman who played Agent Thompson in Matrix Reloaded, played Jason Statham's henchman who kills the maid in Cellular, the hero in Red Scorpion 2, the title character on the 90s show NightMan and appeared on shows like Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles and CSI: Miami.
This is pretty much the awesomest ad campaign ever. I can't believe it took them until 2000 for a car-related company to realize that they could use the Batmobile in their ads!
CAST LIST Batman - Bruce Thomas Curtis Armstrong - Joker Vicki Vale - Brooke Burns The Riddler - Brian Stepanek Alfred Pennyworth - Michael Gough (who played Alfred alongside Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney) No idea about Penguin yet
@DoctorPretorious616 the guy who played Batman was not Andrew Davis, his name is Bruce Thomas, he had a minor role as Batman in the not so successful Birds of Prey series
Sorry, I should've said I meant the actual length of the flame... In this ad it seems to be blasting double or 3 times as far as the one from the original films. That's why I said it looked more like the one from Batman Forever as that Batmobile had a different flame :P
they use the suit from batman forever the cave from batman and robin...even a guy that sounds like george clooney and a batmobile from batman and batman returns nice how they incorporate all
Sheeeeeeit. Batman Begins was fucking AWESOME! And The Dark Knight will be even better! Batman 89, Returns, Forever, B&R stunk. BB & TDK RULE THE WEEEEEELD!!!
Very well done assemblage of the commercials, the sets and costumes looked great and Andrew Davis was a damn good Batman! And was that Matt Frewer as the Riddler?
@jacksonwilliams19 yep and the music they did create is atleast worthy to carry the name batman theme and holds its ground against Elfman's, even if it doesn't QUITE match his score it does a worthy job. Something Elliot Goldsmith and Hans Zimmer couldn't do, good sounding themes in general just appear really bad when compared to the Danny Elfman theme.
@Talvrae Well In da 1st film joker killed bruce's parents which is inaccurate. Jack nicholson didn't have a very high laugh and the joker got killed. and the 2nd film while it was good too had it's down sides as well which I can't explain but a review from "Geekevolution" can. And of course everybody has it in for the last two films.
This is who they should get to play Batman in the Justice League and Batman reboot, Even though no one could beat Christian Bale's portrayal of The Dark Knight.
@@bigbobbacharcoal Keaton was better than both. He didn't need autotune to hide his voice like Batfleck and he also didn't talk like he was suffering a mild stroke like BatBale. He also made a better Bruce than the two of them. Bale's Bruce seemed like a crazy asshole and I don't buy Batfleck being a billionaire playboy orphan when he's too busy trying to depress me almost every scene he has about his dead friends and family which they use like a crutch in his DCEU character arc. Even though his rich dude disguise is supposed to be fun to throw the scent off his trail, both Bale and Affleck fuck that up. Clooney was a half-decent Bruce but a TERRIBLE Batman. Kilmer got it Animated Series perfect down to the fact that he LOOKED like cartoon Batman come to life with the square jaw, and the needlessly buff upper chest, talking in a Keaton-type Batman voice when he's in the mask, but the movie he's in is such a coin toss (get it?) he hardly gets credit for being the only other accurate Batman.
Harley Jackson I agree with you on bale but not Ben Affleck. Ben had been batman for 20-25 years at that point so little gadgets like a voice changer make sense. In his youth he probably didn't have it but someone cough cough bane may of come along and he needed to take more precautions. Or the riddler who btw wouldn't be able to tell the world batman is Bruce Wayne because of his ego, because a riddle that every knows the answer to is worthless. I enjoyed Bens Bruce Wayne because it reminded me of batman the animated series at times. If we had a solo Ben Affleck movie I think we see more of "Bruce Wayne" who slept around, went to weird parties and drank way too much. We see that in BvS but not enough for it to stick. The movie is too short to show it all off. They had way to much for that movie now it should of been 2 or 3 films. With the rich dude being fun well he's old af hold on I'll respond to the rest in a bit
@@bigbobbacharcoal It's amazing how the "opinion" has changed. EVERYONE hated Ben Affleck AND Jessie Eisenberg when Batman V Superman came out. Now, since the fanboys were gifted with around 2 hours of extra Justice League footage, all the sudden they like them and everything about the movies.
