Intensive Treatment (Extreme) Round 1 is easier. Batclaw/Counter/Cape Stun/Evade/Punch until combo x5/Throw/Batarang/Punch until combo/Combat Takedown/Punch until Ground Takedown opportunity
If anyone’s struggling with this trophy I would suggest trying it on the sewer bat extreme map, because you can go for it in the first round, there’s loads of enemies and you can keep restarting until you get it. I think the key thing is to slow down and move the camera angle, once you realise how much time you have in-between pressing buttons, it will make it a lot less stressful
you legend, i got it on my 4th try with your advice! the lack of empathy from other commenters under this vid is really uncalled for. for me at least, being able to restart and go straight for it a couple of times is important to get into the zone... never would have gotten it on the first map. that's it now though, last achievement done
@@itslewisbuttery congratulations man i am happy you got the trophy and that my advice helped someone :) and yes the internet can be a toxic place. would be a better if people helped eachother out instead of making fun of eachother. thats why i wrote this comment, to help other people out. this game is quite hard to platinum. people who say its easy and try to make others feel bad for not being able to get all the trophies are just pathetic lol
My only issue with this alternative approach after 25 failed attempts is that there's just way too many enemies. I can get 8/9, but when I have to do the Ground Takedown, there's always one thug that sucker punches me and cancels it. I guess it could STILL work if I just manage to not get hit during the whole thing until there's only like 2 enemies left, but I'm not that good... With the method in the video, tho having to re-do Round 1 is a pain, the actual trophy round is much more manageable...
I actually found Knight much easier to Platinum because that one has a much bigger range of moves that you can try doing. Asylum only has just the few combo variations which makes it 10x harder for me to pull it off because I might accidentally repeat the same move again or the thugs hit you with those cheap shots constantly and it's the most annoying thing ever.
Ok here’s a tip for all those who are still trying to get platinum and this trophy on this game after more than 10 years (like me haha). I spent 3 hours trying to get this trophy and getting like 50 times a 8x combo and I was sure I was making all the 9 correctly. What I was doing wrong is that I thought the final “takedown” was just the normal final hit batman gives to the last man standing, so I pressed square the text “Critical hit” appeared and the round finished. Actually the takedown is circle+triangle instead, which is a combo I barely used during the story and I soon forgot. Remember it guys it is an easy trophy!!
@@adrianarellano653 no no, sorry if I explained it bad. I THOUGHT the “takedown” had to be the last move necessarily, because I thought the takedown was just the final hit batman gives to the last man standing (by normally pressing square) because when you do it you can see “critical hit”. *But this is wrong!!* The takedown is the special move you do by pressing circle+triangle, and clearly you can do it when you want. That was the one I was missing which made me lose a lot of time.

The problem is that (at least for me) the combo ends out of nothing! Sometimes using evade, batatang, claw, the combo just finishes and another starts. Really frustrating…
Guess why......... BECAUSE IT IS MFCKING EZZZZZZZZ! Sorry, but no... Seriously... It's easy af... Compared to all the other Arkham freeflow achievements this one is a joke.
You ain’t gotta do it like they did it Batclaw/strike/evade/cape stun/throw/ takedown/batarangs/ ground pound/ You can switch it up. If there are blue marker indicators and they’re about to hit you it’s OK to counter them. It won’t mess up your free flow. Just don’t get hit or it’s useless. You can also use the evade as many times as you want to avoid getting hit. I hope my comment at least helps someone.

@Sakutaze who said I didn't play on hard mode 😂, I completed the game on hard mode, beat riddler's challenge without a guide, AND I finished challenge mode with every medal! What did you do?
This is actually so easy. Did it in like 30 minutes. Granted, I'm a veteran arkham player but still. You wanna know the REAL hard (and annoying) challenges? The ones like riddler and those requiring you to play multiple playthrough of the game. Fuck that.
Try doing it away from enemies. Try to isolate one. Or like I did - knockdown several with batarangs, then try while they are still getting up. Or just ground pound the very last enemy and no one can hit you then
Gotta build up combo meter. When it turns yellow you can do a throw or takedown. Then it will turn white again. Now you have to just hit enemies keeping combo going until it turns yellow again to do another one of your choice (throw or takedown)
Throw is A and X, or X and square for playstation. Take down is B and Y, or circle and triangle. I was having the same problem as you where when doing a take down it would stun, it's because you have to press both buttons right at the same time, not one then the other.
I don't know why but it seems on PS5 console, the batarang combo keeps dropping. I can be definitely sure about my timing but It just doesn't seem to work :(
@@discoking828 I finally got it yesterday. Starting with the batclaw wasn’t working for me. Once I did the batclaw last, the trophy and the platinum popped. Thank you!
