Easily Tim's best work. You know something is good, when it remains a time-proven classic. The scenery, the music, the costumes, the script, the actors, the fight scenes, the character development --- it doesn't disappoint.
I agree but also having watched it recently I realized there were many plot points left unresolved, left to your imagination, like how come Max just threw Selina out of the window without even thinking about getting rid of the corpse or thinking about the police. Did Gotham people ever realize of Max's real persona or was he just honored as a fallen hero in his funeral? We never get to see a scene where Gotham people & police acepts batman as a hero again after they discovered he was framed.
@@TheBackClassChannel nobody cares about that kind of stuff it's a great and classic movie and still one of best Batman movies ever made. That's all that matters.
Yes I couldn't agree more. Director Joel Schumacher should bring Michael Keaton back in Batman Forever 1995 and Batman and Robin 1997. In fact, Tim Burton should get more involved in these two Batman movies as Schumacher's fellow Producer, just to make them look more like sequels.
Tim has some quite goofy mannerisms (which I like), but I tend to wonder how he got the gig. He doesn’t seem like someone that could influence / convince movie exects. As it turns out though, he was amazing and a visionary. Also, he produced some of the most amazing sketches when he created the look of the characters.
Man... Tim burton had such a way with music in his early work, Batman Returns is when that was really amped up... There's so many melody's and musical pieces of work, each has its own gothic darkened under tone to each them which either made you feel a creepy blow on the neck or made you feel so interested in what's next but everything had this gothic tone to it. Fuck I miss Tims Batman I wish we kept going with his vision of the characters along with set, storyline, environments, music, and scripts... But now unfortunately we're stuck with the only reboot anyone talks about and compares every design of the Batman character too which in my opinion is bullshit. Nolan's Batman... Fuck I hated everything worth hating about his character. Fucking trash yet everyone praises that crap
Totally agree with this whole post, it's a masterpiece. These scenes are imprinted in my head. I've already somewhat forgotten Nolans work, unfortunately.
@@christisrisen6774 Oh most definitely. He had the charm and looks to pull off Bruce and the edge, physicality and heroic badassery to play Batman. Huge missed opportunity
You know Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito and Michelle Pfeiffer had appeared in the other movies of Tim Burton like: Michael Keaton = Beetlejuice, Danny DeVito = Mars Attacks & Big Fish and Michelle Pfeiffer = Dark Shadows.
The cartoon show was not released yet but before it this came and was number one box office mash hit even world wide aduces love batman and still as today
I’d like to take this time to thank val Kilmer and George clooney for not only fucking up the Bruce Wayne character but the batman character too LONG LIVE MICHAEL KEATON!
"Metropolis" is also a term used to indicate a big city. ...And I gotta say that in Tim Burton's films Gotham City looks alot like Fritz Lang's SciFi classic "Metropolis". Heck, the first movie even ends with the badguy falling from a church.
Keaton was right to walk away from Batman Forever because it was shit, how they went from the dark horse style of Batman (89) and Returns to what the hell Forever/& Robin was I don't know Michelle Pfeiffer was cat women as well perfect for the role
dear, dmitry zakharenkov. i'm raheem james and i'm 25 age years old in my birthday. i'm just looking someone both featurette in batman forever 1995 with two-face, the riddler, robin, dr. chase meridian, sugar and spice and batman & robin 1997 with mr. freeze, poison ivy and bane. so just do all uploadon riddle me this? why is batman forever, visual effects supervisor, VFX in batmobile, batwing, batboat, red birdcycles, batcycles, freezemobile, batskiff, bathammer, costume design, making city building in gotham city and building, music score. all of it, thank you.
Man I love Michael Keaton who played Batman/Bruce Wayne in Tim burton's Batman (1989) & Batman returns (1992) but Director Joel Schumacher should bring Michael Keaton back in Batman forever (1995) & Batman and Robin (1997) not Val Kilmer & not George Clooney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well for me I heard that Tim Burton was a producer for Batman Forever and Joel Schumacher directed and filmed the movie but I gotta admit maybe Val Kilmer was like the best and greatest Batman in Batman Forever.
Tim wanted to do a third but the studio didn't want him. So they brought in Joel and he fucked everything up and Keaton went in for the fitting of the suit and reread the script realized it suck and left. So yeah WB has been fucking things up since the 90's
I couldn't agree more. Joel really should bring Michael back in Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, not Val or George. In fact Tim Burton should get more involved in Joel's batman movies as Producer to make them look like sequels.
Does anyone know what happened to the white cat in the beginning and why copplepot grabbed the cat? And what did he do with the cat. Please dont tell me he killed the cat... :(
headoverheals4shane I dod not ask for catwoman.. I ask about the white cat copplepot´s parents had when copplepot as a child grabbed the cat into the cage. What he did with the cat in that cage is what I want to know.
TheGTAVIIMaster I always thought the cat attacked him first (because he is a 'Penguin', he smelled like fish or something, I was young at the time xD). I recently watched this movie again, and I think he indeed grabbed the cat. Why? My two cents: Because he is a monster without a conscience. Or maybe jealousy: why does he, the firstborn son, needs to stay locked up, and a mere cat can walk around freely? Or both. And I think headoverheals4shane could be right in a way. That it is foreshadowing Penguin vs Catwoman. "I can't pet you? (or regarding Catwoman: f*ck her) Then screw you!" One way or the other: I don't think the cat survived...
Ace de Klown So now I must find out who played Copplepot as the child in the cage, and stab him for "killing" the white cat. I can´t find any other solution.
I'm with you on that. Here's some advice: Hold a few penguins hostage in exchange for that actor. Threaten that you will whip their heads off or stab them with Batarangs. Success guaranteed. Good luck!
Ace de Klown I was only joking... But if u can say that copplepot as the child killed the white cat, I would be ok with it. But stick to the Truth Thx...
