A quick tip Justin to rid the gloss from the headsculpt, I used a soft brush & talc over the head then used tamiya ts 80, the talc creates a micro thin layer between the silicone & matt so the chemicals don't eat away after time
Remember when Hot Toys announced Batman Returns figures (including Penguin & Catwoman) back in Feb 18, 2012? Estimate for Q4 release that same year. They were to be DX releases so approx $220 tops for that time. Unfortunately, if released today it would be $400+ with half the accessories and outfits included back in 2012. That was 12 years ago folks. What a shame. Justin, you know how long I have been waiting for Penguin.

I remember back in the day when they actually made the first run of small action figures. There was actually one pack that was just penguins with rocket packs like these. I've seen these nifty 1/6 scale umbrellas, always love those. It seems like they did a great job, despite that shiney head. I love how grody those long johns are. The hands are so creepy.

Hi Justin! I'm glad you're back. Holy Frightmare! That New Penguin 1/6 Scale looked Horrifying Outstanding! Eternal Toys truly Nailed it. Totally Film Accurate. I had fun Memories of the Batman Returns Movie. I remember way back as a Young Adult, watching the Batman Returns (1992) Film, at the Movie Theater. When I first saw the Penguin on the Big Screen, man it kind of Scared the Hell out of me. It felt so Realistically, Scary Amazing. Danny Devito Portrayed the Penguin Character very well. Whats up justin, Danny Devitos penguin always gave me the creeps but this figure is pretty cool. That shot of him with Catwoman and Batman, was awesome they looked so good together 😃👍 keep up the good work! Btw congratulations on the new little one. That has to be very exciting! Great review! I have mine as I see this video. I agree I wish they gave us at least two more rocket carrying penguins. I hope they make the well dressed Mayor Penguin version as well!
I will definitely pick this guy up. Great review. About the hair spray. Never sprayed a figure before. Would you recommend covering the outfit when spraying the hair ? How long does it usually last? Thanks.

i actually quite like the glossiness, having just gone back and looked at some scenes and pictures, he has sort of a shiny, greasy sickly skin and in the scenes where he is in his lair with the penguins he has a wet face, maybe they could have added two headsculpts one glossy and one matt so we could choose which part of the movie we wanted him to be from
I damn near had this guy, then decided against it. Had a lot going on that week. Really want to pick him up in the future. Just an iconic penguin regardless of opinions on movie accuracy.
I'm really looking forward to this figure. Black point for me but which can be easily solved: I find the hair too long and above all too clean. In the film the hair looks greasy and always a bit wet. A little hair gel should do the trick.

Neca did a great Catwoman, Batman, and Penguin. But they are huge 1/4 scale. Great quality for the price though. I have all three on display. They do need real estate to breathe though lol
I just bought this figure. One problem I had was putting the cigarette in his mouth. There is no hole to insert it. Mine snapped in half. What did you do?
I think he needs to be pastier in the face. My memory of penguin is pale almost white with dark eye sockets. If he was paler and less glossy he'd be perfect.
