It is indescribably good, as is all of his work, but his absolute best? I wouldn’t say that. Again not taking anything from this masterpiece, but this is Divide! So the songs that rank among his best, is too many, to say anything, about any specific one. Much like yourself and your music.

Another AMAZING track from Divide that perfectly incapsulates Batman's struggle with his inner demons and what makes him so iconic over 80 years later! And adding that gothic Phantasm-level choir in the background during the chorus was perfect! Really wish Kevin got to hear this one, but I'm sure he'd be more than proud if he did!
1: missed the release 2: HOLY CRAP IS THIS BEAUTIFULLY DONE! You can HEAR the emotions in the lyrics, not just feel them. It fits Bruce perfectly, showing the suppressed rage of his parents' deaths and how he releases it on the villains he fights.

This definitely has a spiritual successor vibe to your red hood song death in the family. I also love how Dartraven did the video. This song somehow flew under my radar for two weeks before it came up in a Spotify mix. I loved it instantly. The use of silence between the lines in the intro gives them so much impact.

honestly, this kinda encapsulates batman's mentality, but not in the way yall think. the line "you cant tell me what you are" reminds me of the phrase "you are the effect you leave on other people", and thats what batman is, he is the effect he leaves on gotham
