Batman Issue 139 through 141.

That's actually a good question: Why doesn't Bruce/Batman just cripple the Joker? He has a rule against killing, not against leaving villains paralised.

Especially given he does it his Rogues Galleries thugs but never Joker, Two Face etc. The closest Bruce did this was in the DCAU with Bane only because he knew he would recover quickly because of the Venom

He literally has everything so planned out, that when he hands harvey the gun, he holds his finger on the hammer to prevent in from shooting if harvey did try to fire. He literally had every step planned.

He was part of the original story, when this was the main story. It was a cult, that the Joker was working and ends up being very weird in the story. It’s hard to describe that run. I think Morrison did it, maybe?

He's gotta pay the bills. The MCU is beyond repair, so there's not as broad an audience. I have also critiqued the video titles over the last year, the titles began to feel AI generated. To Rob's credit; *titles were changed.* However, it is *January.* A content creator earns the least amount of money during this time of year. I can let it slide. There's no way he likes having to play the YT algorithm. (PS: Rob if you read this, I've been following this channel since you were on PKA *years* ago. I will watch a built in ad at the beginning of the video if it pays the bills.)

Kind of gives a better explanation to Batman's whole "no killing" stick, because if Batman kills, Zur would completely take over. Though if this somehow turns out to be Joker became Joker as it was the only way to keep Zur En Arrh in check, somehow... I don't know how I would feel about that.

@@nature-kv3xe Facts. All the new fans and ever the new writers love to forget, ignore, and try to hide the golden age Batman. The like to think it starts at the TV show version. The original Batman absolutely killed and used guns (he was a damn marksman that would put green arrow and deadshot to shame), yeah he left guys tied up for cops at times but he also left plenty of bodies in his wake.

This story feels like a combination of Spider-Man with the Venom symbiote and Superior Spider-Man. There's so much Spider-Man in this story they even touch on how everyone Peter, I mean Bruce, loves getting hurt/dying

When you look at it down to it's core, they are more or less the same. Both make use of prep time to devastating, had family die (more than once), have an enemy that knows their identity/their every weakness. Has an enemy they get along with as often as fight against. Both are constantly holding back. The main difference between the two of them is their powers, and the fact Spidey actually THRIVES in chaos and Batman loses effectiveness in chaos he didn't plan. Look at every time Batman loses. It is always when someone throws him off his game and makes things stop going along with his plans.

Hugo Strange says in Arkham City that Batman is as much part of the problem as every other villain he refuses to kill. In fact it might actually be much worse, because the villains enter in contact with him and re-emerge with a new purpose, usually vengeful, endangering ever more people now, so Batman is basically acting as a mutagen, and all because he refuses to take out the trash. His refusal to kill is only making Gotham's crime stronger.

Batman becomes Batfleck and goes to war with Zur and Joker. 1:28 All joking aside though it just seems to me that DC is getting back at Geoff John's for making the story of three Jokers and they tried to do it themselves to make it continuity and they screwed that up. However I do believe zarsky is trying to reference the three Jokers since he made the red mask Persona be the main guy to create Joker in the first place from most of the Batman Multiverse. 8:01 Batman Prime Vs Multi Batmen of Zur en ar 15:37 Round 1) Batman Prime Vs Batman 66 Zur en ar = Winner Batman prime Round 2) Batman prime Vs Batman 89 Zur en ar = Winner Batman prime cause he can turn his head 17:01 I don't know why but when I saw Zur in the Fail-Safe robot body all of a sudden I start hearing the Terminator theme playing in the Background

Y'know, I thought it was pretty cut-and-dry as to whether Batman should terminate his criminals, and then you show me that he just had a battle with multiple versions of himself in his head, and they're all arguing like they're real people. And now, I'm not so sure. I think he's actually crazier than his criminals.

Not a fan of the zur en arh retcon....and it's pretty cut and dry. Batman catches them - the ones who FAIL are the government and legal system. Where is the smoke for them? How many officers will shoot a criminal because they feared for their safety? It's BS.
