My favorite line of this whole book is when Alfred walks in on the Turtles vs Batman in the Cave, and upon being asked if he's a robot, he proclaims he's real and has a great recipe for turtle soup! Alfred being a badass!

This is almost literally like the 50th time I've seen this episode, SO MUCH FUN!! It reminded me today of the time I met Kevin Eastman last year, and I was so overwhelmed with his presence, I was in tears and could not speak to him!! I was like a slobbering baby! Can't wait to meet him again (soon I hope!) and try again!!!

Yay for Freddie Williams II. He wrote a really good book about how to draw DC art. Also, he was on a Best of the Worst on the RLM channel! Also, I really enjoyed this crossover. Just seemed like a fun, not too serious comic.

I love watching an episode of Back Issues before bed, then not being able to sleep all night because I'm so excited to go get the book the next day. Back Issues is my favorite show, I've seen every episode and love watching an episode, getting the book and reading it for myself, then re-watching the episode to see how much I agree with Sal. I loved the 40,000 subscriber special and watched all 6:30. Please keep up the fantastic work. Also, would you kindly consider Batman Eternal or Batman & Robin Eternal for an episode? I'm so curious to see the gang's thoughts on Harper Row.

@@thedukeofchutney468 As a certified fan of the 2012 show, I believe it's because the tone is a perfect fusion of goofy and serious. Also I'm sure you've heard this before, but the 2003 fight scenes have a sort of formula per say. Guy punches camera, flash of light, guy falls back. Not saying all fights are like this but a good chunk are. Also the turtles themselves are the most, what's the word, human versions? Leo had a reason he wanted to lead he's just a big star trek nerd who looked up to the leader, at first he kinda sucked at it but overtime he adapted. Raphael is still a hardass but he's pretty much an insecure teen who's horrified of cockroaches (that's a great episode). Mikey kinda has his never shut up attitude much like 2003 but can be just straight up dumb sometimes. I can't excuse Donnie he kinda sucks.

As the humors the primary Robins do match the turtles pretty well. Leonardo to Dick. Raph to Jason. Donatello to Tim. Michelangelo to Damian. Funny since they were designed so far apart in time.

Wouldn't Mikey be more like Stephanie? Damian really doesn't have a sense of humor and would likely try to kill and eat Mikey after growing tired of his bits.

+Taskmaster Jason is totally emo with his brothers and friends like Roy. And I could so see Damian cuddling teddy Mr. Friez, the video games, that him with super powers arc, plus I fell in like with Damian in Lil Gotham and he is SUCH a Mikey in that series.

+Ian McKee oh I totally agree. I almost mentioned Steph but she's not technically one of the four. Which, as a Steph girl, pisses me off. Though rebirth? The only ROBIN comics I own are her three... but I'm a dead robins person. Steph, Jason, and Damian. The Robins that don't really follow Batman's rules.

So Sal is to encyclopedia nerdtanica what Hammond was to dinosaurs in the Jurassic park movies. the creator trying to save the world from his creation. Maybe more like the Dr Frankenstein. Granted that would mean Sal is fated to die due to his obsession.

[SPOILERS FOR THE IDW NINJA TURTLES] I haven't read Batman Ninja Turtles yet but, Shredder should have been just as worried about the universe timer thing as the Turtles. IDW Shredder is pretty much exactly Ra's al Ghul. He uses mutagen he stole from Krang to keep himself young and immortal for the last 500 years. So, there's a good chance, he would convert into a 500 year old corpse. Also, Raphs angst is sort of explained in the IDW comics. He got separated when they got mutated and has to survive alone for about a year before they found him again.

Another thing that I always find hilarous is that people in comics always overreact to things. About half an hour, there's mention of the Foot Soldiers being assumed insane because they claim to be from another universe. In the DC Universe, wouldn't the claim that somebody's from another universe be something common?

Weird plot? I mean get the turtle thing but technically speaking the IDW Turtles did start out as humans, but during feudal Japan or something and after the were murdered by (guess who) they were reborn as turtles, but I guess it makes enough sense lol
