It’s crazy how this is the first episode that Catwoman features as a major character. Yeah she’s appeared here and there throughout the series, but this is the first episode that really focuses on her.
Just so you know, The Birds of Prey are traditionally consisted of Barbara Gordon (both as Oracle and Batgirl), Black Canary and Huntress. There have been more members but they are the core three. Catwoman isn't traditionally a member.
Black Orchid is the legacy name of several characters. The one in this episode is the original one and her name is Susan Linden. After living under the roof of an abusive father, Susan Linden married Carl Thorne, a wealthy gun dealer who worked for Lex Luthor . Thorne stole a weapons shipment but Linden found out. After she went to the authorities, Thorne killed Linden. Philip Sylvian, a childhood friend and botanist, combined Linden's genetic material with an experimental hybrid of animal and plant matter. The being known as Black Orchid was born. She used her newfound powers to fight crime as a super hero.

Imagine if Harvey went through the incident that made him into two face his split personality made it so his scarred side would play the role of super villain, but his non-scarred side became a superhero If the coin lands scarred side up two face sends his gang to commit crimes. If the coin lands good side up, he dawns the Batman mask and goes on patrol rival gangs
I just realized, if the cloak really does work off of who you believe you are, does not mean to face would’ve got an 18 lives since he has split personality disorder, meaning Harvey would get nine lives and Two-Face would get nine lives
From the thumbnail I instantly knew which episode it was, never watched the whole thing but seen the clip on RU-vid, catchy song👌. That cloak actually working is insane, and the fact they put that in the museum just shows Gotham don't be caring, I bet the homeless man around the block was plotting on taking it for himself🤣. Batman losing his memory and thinking he was actually a crime boss went exactly how I thought it would, except the parts of him going off the side of the road because he could😵💫. Two-Face was really getting clowned on, even the News noticed it💀. Bro got tired of waiting for Batman to show up and dawned the cape and mask himself, fan behavior fr😎.

Yeah this episode was banned after its first airing because of all the innuendos they snuck into that song, even the dvd version apparently has different animation than the original because it was too much lol
This is definitely in the top 10 episodes of the series. Funny enough I’ve heard this episode was a DVD exclusive, presumably because they couldn’t get the devil entendres pass the TV censors. Personally, I don’t see what the big deal is, I watched the episode as a kid and never got the joke apart from “oh they’re making fun of of the heroes” without understanding what they were making fun of, I feel like only the adults would understand. But to be fair, I’m glad the episode was created at all
So here’s my question about the cloak: Does every person who wears it get nine lives or does it only give nine free saves in total? In case it isn’t clear what I mean, let’s say someone uses up all nine to their lives and is finally dead. If someone else puts on the cloak is the cape useless or does it give that person another set of lives because they haven’t spent it yet? I’m guessing that every person gets nine lives and they don’t have to share those lives amongst each other because they say at the end Batman survived because at the time he wasn’t using the identity of Batman (a bit of BS but plausible).

By the way, did you watch the video from Casually Comics about the giant Penny and the one about Flash from comic pop? The one about Flash really shows a specific moment in time regarding the characterthat thankfully is in the past and Wally has been the mainline Flash again for years.
