A Vekoma SLC at a Six Flags park is a pretty common sight, but not one themed to Batman. In fact, this is the only Batman The Ride coaster that isn't a B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) invert clone. There are currently 40 SLC coasters (28 of these standard models) operating at parks the world over, so chances are there is one at a park near you.

A mi me gustó mucho este juego mecánico porque los pies van colgando y no sientes esa sensación de estar acorralado en un carrito, puedes sentir el aire en tus pies, es muy relajante la sensación y la rapidez se siente riquísima, excelente.

Pongan la cabeza derecha, recargada y firme de igual manera el cuerpo duro y no giren la cabeza porque ahi se les va a quedar por la fuerza asi son menores los golpes.

Por muchos años (1999-2000 y tantos) éste fue el juego de estelar de todo el Parque, junto con la Primera Medusa. Fue el sucesor del Escorpión (cuando aún era Reino Aventura). Y cuando estabas formado en la fila de Batman te pasaban aún en televisiones de caja de color amarillo con azúl la película de Batman Forever con Jim Carrey. Que hermosos recuerdos.💖

Define SLC first. The Suspended Looping Coaster is popular because of the flexibility of its design. It's much more cost-effective to use a design that works than to design something entirely brand new. SLCs are also among the most-ridden and most-loved of all rollercoasters, by combining the thrills of suspension, inversions, steel smoothness, and high speed. It would be more feasible for a small park to build a standard Corkscrew than to build an SLC.

Yeah, I heard they re-tracked El Condor, haven't been on it myself the new season, but my friends told me it hasn't changed much. I don't mind boomerangs and I think Speed of Sound is really good actually. They did well with re-theming it.

I rode this coaster several times in the mid to late 90's at the Six Flags near LA. It was fun and terrifying at the same time. XD

SFMM never had a roller coaster of this type, only the same name.

Well then it was very similar in style, because when I watched the video I thought it was the same one I rode back then. The Colo scheme was the same. It was the same sort of let you legs dangle sort of coast cars. The track is probably the only thing different, if anything is.

The layout is completely different. This video is an slc by vekoma, SFMM is the batman clone by B&M. Trust me they are completely different. SFMM's Batman is better.

Rct3andCP Ah, the layout being different would make sense. It has been over a decade since I'd been on the ride after all. I remember quite a bit about it but obviously my memory is a bit lacking. XD this video at least served to spark that memory of those summers I went to Six Flags so I can't complain. :)

Isn't a SLC known for it's roughness, and one of the lesser loved rollercoasters (even among the non-enthusiasts)? I mean, I live in NL, and in Walibi Holland, El condor (a SLC) is by far the least popular coaster because of it's roughness.

Why does six flags have so many SLC's? Isn't a SLC mostly for small parks with limited money? Six Flags has enough money to buy bigger and better rides, so why all the SLC's?

Take away the pain, and they become pretty cool rides, though. Surely you know about Speed of Sound? My local park has made similar modifications to its own Boomerang, and it runs much better than before. You know, I wonder why they don't do the same modifications to SLCs.

not all SLCs are smooth, some such as Gauntlet and F:TGN are smooth while others such as El Condor are extremely painful. Besides, many people don't like SLCs that much and for me, I'd rather ride a B&M invert
