Kevin Cano "Are you supposed to have a light tone for fighting?" - You're not supposed to do anything, but I enjoy a lighter tone much more. And I'm good with darkness. I just don't like depressingly dark (as in, emotionless characters, other than hateful outbursts every now and then).

It's 2019 and to be honest I still love this movie I even have extended cut. Zack Snyder truly had vision for DC and everything ends. I still love Man of steel and his other peace of art it shows dark reality and people just wanted to escape this reality.

Jackson Meade I personally didn't like it not because of Supes killing Zod or the destruction of metropolis. I did the like it because I didn't like how the represented the characters (expect Zod) the lame plot, the 50 supposed insipring speech, and a bunch of other stuff. However if you liked it I envy you. I have watched this movie 3 times hoping to chance my opinion but it hasn't worked. But this new movie does look really good and I'm hyped for it.

Jackson Meade People thought there were no repercussions for metropolis's destruction and they didnt like that zod was killed, the first reason is shown to be untrue from this trailer.

TheEvaGuy Exactly, now I can say that I'm far less skeptical than before as well. Though I'm still a little unsure about Diana being here. All the trailer did with her in full costume was make her feel even more shoehorned in my opinion. But we shall see.

TheEvaGuy The big question is whether the movie will have any heart or humor. Sure, the DC movies are looking to be darker than the Marvel ones and that's fine - if Marvel has a weakness it's that they tend to be too light hearted at times. However, Man of Steel lacked pretty much ANY humor or heart which pulled down a potentially great movie to a merely pretty good one. You can't have a movie that is just unremitting darkness and angst. Please, please let this have enough humor and heart to make the main characters seem human and not just walking (flying) emotional disasters!

Ranillon The thing is though, that DC does include humor in their films, it's just a lot more subtle. Where Marvel's humor is in the foreground and dialogue, DC's is more of a circumstantial and background quality. It's kind of like the dark and sarcastic humor in the original Willy Wonka film.

OgI Kidd There has only been ONE movie of the new DC movie universe - Man of Steel - and it had pretty much ZERO heart or humor. You just can't use the old DC films done under different regimes as examples of what the films in this new universe will be like. So, B vs. S is going to show us if the powers-that-be at DC/WB can learn from their mistakes.

A common criticism that I heard about Man of Steel is that it's odd for Superman to be against killing enemies given that the demolished several buildings full of innocent people. I guess that's Batman's position.

I wish I could simply cameo in this, but y'now I live in Mar del Plata. Besides... 1) Diana's role's gonna be way more than a simple cameo as we were (mis)led to think 2) Lex is the genius full of surprises, playing fool at first 3) Bruce is chasing the Joker... personal vendetta... in the Suicide Squad movie 4) Jeremy "Alfred" Irons' voice is perfect in any movie!!!

They should've just stuck with batman and Superman left wonder woman out of it, along with getting rid of Doomsday as well. Also kept Luthor Jr calm instead of unhinged like the Joker. Then it would've been perfect.

Plot points I've got from this: - Superman is on trail for what happened in Metropolis. - Some close to Bruce died in Metropolis. The Wayne tower gets destroyed. - Batman comes back from retirement, Clark is writing pieces for the newspaper. - Superman continues to save people, but feels conflicted because most of humanity despises him. - Superman destroys a rocket for some reason? - Lex recover's Zod's body to experiment on. To make a super suit - The Joker has killed Jason Todd here, leading to Batman's retirement in the first place. - Superman has an army of guys with guns in the desert.????? Starts a fight with WW - Someone is dressed like Batman (does't look like Affleck) from the Red Son comic - Luthor finds kryptonite (probably causes him to go bald and loose those sexy locks of hair) - Luthor is deffo orchestrating the whole thing - People punching and shit

I usually don't like blockbuster movies being close to 3 hours in length (Transformers 4), but with all of the content that we see in this trailer, I would be disappointed if it wasn't. This looks like one of those rare movies that needs to be long.

Other movie studios should take note - if you want to release a 3-4 minute trailer, you can do it without giving away every plot point and big sequence. I'm 100% excited for this now.

That's a new new full trailer is cause mayhem, crazy, frightening, and I think that trailer is gone totally crazy stuff, but maybe I saw the teaser trailer from 3 months ago, It like a story from Injustice: Gods Among Us, I don't know that Superman is a god-like, savior of this planet, he's protected the world. Lex Luthor is got his hair, Wonder Woman is prepared for action, Maybe that full comic-con trailer is crazy, mayhem and scenes of building collapse, fight scenes, and face-to-face the Gotham's Dark Knight and Metropolis' Man of Steel. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is coming to cinemas next year, I going to see it till next spring. The red capes are coming. The red capes are coming.
