All rights belong to Warner Brothers and DC Comics. "This is my world, You are my world." This scene came from the comic Superman: Doomsday. Although it is a bit different, it is a great comic and I highly recommend it.
DC needs to get their shit together is what they is, seriously they have some of the best comic characters and haven’t made a good universe, notice solo films are better?(Wonder Woman, Nolan trio, joker, reeves superman, MoS) they rushed trying to catch up with their competitors and failed they’re not “underrated”, I love Superman and Batman and these are not it, Oh also fuck Warner Bros.
Darksoul1782 yeah I know but that’s a little to early for them to pull a multiverse(film wise) look at marvel their barely getting into the multiverse and it feels natural, DC pulled the multiverse off their shows(Doom Squad is the only one I like) but in my opinion it wouldn’t work (FILM wise) there’s no mention of something being able to go through other earths(the flash just went into the speed force) DC shows > DC movies
@@thelostgaminghq_8053 well, snyder wanted to make man of steel 2 and warner rushed BvS and JL. Warner wanted man of steel to make a billion so they could be up with avengers as fast as possible. Hence why all that destruction at the end of the movie
this is DC comics, the seriousness and drama of their scenes, is not fun for the family, people hate what they do not understand, good movie but little valued.
this film has one of the best soundtracks in superhero movie history sadly not many people recognize it because of this movie being so poorly. i honestly loved this movie. i have also watched this film more than any other movie and this is my all time favorite movie.
@@vanbedore9204 Some have their personal tastes, I am a musician, I speak of the quality of effects, soft and dark (omnisphere). Hans Zimmer is a music monster and this soundtrack "This is my world" is very good. Although already, practically the majority opts for these effects, is that it gives a total wealth to movies and soap operas.
@@pablojuanpradot6382 the thing is that DC doesn't put that much work in the soundtracks, they literally just use the same sounds over and over etc.. but with marvel, they actually put a variety of songs in their soundtracks for a more vibrant world. Doctor strange, spiderman homecoming, especially Avengers infinity war etc. The thing with DC is that they really just stick to one soundtrack, which eventually just gets plain out boring and makes the world bland. Theirs no arguing with that.
@@enzobenzo09 clearly a Simpleton like you dont get the screenwriting and visual story telling. I guess you think that Avengers IS the greatest movie of all time, with its vanilla story and safe ark.
@Wesley Boatwright seriously The WB always rushed their movies. They wanted to face the Marvel's release. I mean who the fuck cares? I don't care how long the movie is gonna take. Even if Marvel releases first. Just give us a good movie. Don't rush shit.
Lmao stop lying🤣. Nobody reacted at supermans death and everybody expected him to come back. This is a second Dceu movie and they already killed the main hero of this universe🤣
I thought the Theatrical Cut of this film was pretty good but the Ultimate Cut Version of this film I thought was absolutely amazing! Love the Ultimate Cut version of this film! It's outstanding.
SPIDER MAN bruh lex luther was framing superman and acting like he did all those bad things like in the capital were the chair exploded people thought superman did it and Batman thought he was bad after what happen in man of steel so when he sees these bad things that are happening he thinks superman is doing them so he is ready to kill superman so that's what lead to the fight, but then he realized that not all men are bed so he teams up with him
@@aravinddeep9764 now that’s just rude…comparing someone’s death in a movie to a person that ACTUALLY died just because some is being rude is not right dude..
as a marvel fan, i actually enjoyed this movie alot! loved the darkness & seriousness of it, so i was actually quite surprised when alot of DC fans hated it..
This is the theatrical version ... Watch the Ultimate edition. The framing for this scene was a bit different. Subtle difference, but it made all the difference in showing Superman's sacrifice.
@@Jjw338 I remember watching Interstellar in Imax for the first time. Theater was fully booked. Enter ''No time for caution'' scene where Matt Damon's character Dr. Mann tries to override the ship's docking procedure. The moment it exploded and the music dropped...complete silence in the whole theater.
I think they will be fine. But that’s okay with me. I still enjoy their films for what they are. That’s may change though now that Downey and Evans are done.
Mr.consistently _inkonsistent if the snyderverse is made canon they will be equal competitors with marvel seeing they too want to go dark with blade and the midnight sons.
PS3addictionz I would love the snyderverse to be canon but I’m not sure how you measure if something is equal. I don’t believe dc will ever make the money or get the critical acclaim of the marvel movies. I just think that’s okay though. I just want dc to do their own thing so I can enjoy it.
i have watched the movie more than 20+ times, still i do watch its clips on youtube, a cinematic masterpiece and details, score and dialogues and sync and chemistry
Lmao stop lying🤣. Nobody reacted at supermans death and everybody expected him to come back. This is a second Dceu movie and they already killed the main hero of this universe🤣.
@@rapolasra934 Your stupid attitude and ignorant replies shows your character. I hope karma gets to you and the people you love, then you will know how it feels to cry. You dedicate your time to post toxic comments on most BvS videos online, why not get a fucking life?
LMAO everyone knows it's just a movie. But the way he presents the scene is matter.. With background music and the dialogue makes me feel cry.. Makes me feel real incident
General Zod : "This fight has to end kal el either you die or i do " Zod dies But what if the BvS alternate ending where Zod and Superman both die as its not the actual doomsday but General Zod bought alive in another form who still had some of his memories
The movie is full of intensity. Only matured person can like this movie. This movie is not for kids. I have never ever watched this type intense movie in my life. ❤.
No ,this is not death ,this is Sacrifice ,by a warrior ,for the people he love and the planet which was not his birthplace .Tell me why people love Marvel 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Yashas Vasudev I like Marvel more, but I have to agree. Spider-Man’s “death” is overrated and he died in the same way as everyone else which ruined it.
no, it didnt need any appreciation at all, we all knew he'd come back, he died in his second fucking movie, while tony stark died after 10 years of build up when he completed his arc, stop making shit up, supermans death in this movie isnt even sad, i knew right away that he'll come back asap in the next movie, everyone knew, so no, this doesnt deserve even half of the appreciation of tony stark's death, and this is coming from someone who loves superman
@@prska It doesn't matter if he was going to come back anyway, it was the way he died and it looked painful and that's what made it sad that he would sacrifice himself to a world that rejected him. And this was the 2nd film in a 5 part arc Superman story, that follows the heroes journey from Joseph Campbell, the Birth, Death, Rise.
@prska well Iron man is also gonna come back in secret wars and this is more sadder especially the music and when you find out that henry cavil isn't playing superman anymore.
Zod was my 2md fav dc movie villian and after supes death i realised that he finally did it. He was man of his words. He said hell find him which he did even from phantom zone and killed him.
This scene wasn't even sad. Idk what was heartbreaking about this. This death was done too soon with Superman not even having a sequel. Should've happened when the character was more investing
I'm kind of glad I didn't see this movie in theaters..I would have lost it when Superman died...especially this music playing...tears are streaming now and I've heard this music a bunch of times..
When Superman died I burst out crying. because I was so sad’ like really sad. at first my parents. were like’ why are you crying. before they realized. what was going on. and started comforting me.
I always wince (genuinely grimace) when Superman is skewered, pulling himself onto Doomsday to get more purchase....and get teary eyed at this bit. In fact, the 'You are my world' line starts me off. I go through the whole range of emotions in films like MoS and BvS UE. Something I seldom do in other cbms. Especially not Josstice League. I fully expect to be similarly moved by the #snydercut.
This was a good movie. My heart dropped in this scene. I'm a huge superman fan. The only thing I didn't like was the fight between batman and superman. Was the lamest shit ever.
Even if you didn’t like the movie or if you are a marvel stan you absolutely cannot deny the fact that this is one of the best live action superhero fight scenes in history and you also cannot deny the fact that Wonder Woman’s entrance is one of the best superhero entrances in history she showed up and immediately put in the most work in this fight I’m sorry but for Superhero movies wise especially for DC you cannot beat Zack Snyder’s Cinematography it’s literally a perfect match for DC movies
Like weary boxers who have gone the distance, the combatants collide in one last, explosive effort. In the years to come a few witnesses will tell of the power of these final punches, that they could literally feel the shockwaves. Others will remember the enormous crater that resulted from the sheer force of the blows. But most will remember this sad day as the day the proudest, most noble man they ever knew finally fell.
