Once you realise Lex Luthor is a villainous, murderous version of Mark Zuckerberg you understand why Lex, being so young, has these connections, the money and the influence.

I personally liked how the character evolved in this and even in Justice League. When he started out, he seemed like a modern day high energy high pressuring salesman whose pitch was a weapon that could kill Superman. Reminiscent of Gene Hackman's evil Real Estate version. Then when he tells the scout ship to teach him everything, that's when he started to slip, partially due to the knowledge he's learned driving him nuts as well as Darkseid's influence on him pretty much frying his brain. Then after all is said and done and he's out of Arkham, he's more calmer, cooler and collected but he still wants to kill Superman.

Brings me tears to my eyes to see all the people appreciate this brilliant performance. Clowns till this day are making video essays trying to dunk on his performance but I think that goes to show how perfect he was. I absolutely love this film. Gets more relevant each and every year.

I don’t see any problem with this version of Lex, he’s amazing.

I am glad Lex wasn't a dark brooding character he was eccentric but at the same time brought the movie to life.

If there is a common thread in this movie between Batman, Superman and Lex Luthor, its how each character related to their parents and how it was their parent/s death or upbringing that ultimately determined how each character would turn into as adults.

For those of you who didn’t like eisenberg as lex you need to understand something. - This lex is young , energetic and “ has hair “ and daddy issues. - The lex we all know is hungry for power and admiration and bald ( this lex can grow hair , the one we all have seen is bald for life ). - This lex blames superman for one day he will turn against humanity and lex will be the one to tell mankind “ i told you so “ . He sees himself as a savior. - The last thing - Eisenbergs lex fits perfectly with the comic one ( if you haven’t read it ). I enjoyed this lex luthor and of course , i did like michel rosenbaum as lex ( he was astounding).

I find the small elaboration and acknowledgment of Meta-humans fascinating, as it's a clear implication that other people throughout the world have displayed inhuman feats of power but to the same extent that Superman has. Treated like the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, and so on. So it boggles the mind how after Zack left, and more Meta-humans become present, that WB and writers decided to have these "gods among men" have *merchandise* of them everywhere.

I will NEVER forgive the critics for burying the SnyderVerse, so much potential, so different from Marvel, such such a waste.

Haters say "all style no substance" But even the t-shirt Luthor wears explains his views, his intentions, his plan. So if it's all style, then theres more substance in the style than the haters could ever understand.

I love this Luthor. So charismatic and devious. This character had so much depth.

I don’t see Lex Luthor’s character as a slight against businessmen and rich people but rather a metaphor for what happens when someone with great potential chanels it commit evil acts as opposed to Superman who uses his potential to be mankinds savior.

It's dope how this Lex is directly influenced by Lex Luthors first appearance in comic books. He was a young, traumatized, ruthless too smart for his own good genius

We can clearly see in this scene that Lex Luthor hates powerful men who in public are kind and charismatic, but in private they are violent and cruel, like his father was to him, and like his father was raised, in West Germany, where Hitler played the charismatic leader and brutal dictator, and people cheered him with flowers and claps, like the businessmen did to Luthor's father, that used to beat Luthor Jr. in private. And that's why he hates Superman, because he doesn't have this duality of being a good inspirational man ain public and a bad person in private, so Luthor wanted to exterminate him so bad, because like he said, "if God is all powerful, he cannot be all good", and he wanted to prove that Superman icon is a fraud and tried to turn everyone against him, in the Africa incident, in the bombing in the Capitol, and even making him an enemy to Batman, because he doesn't believe in someone who is good all the time. Lex Luthor character is just brilliant.
