+TheMornal It's also incredibly complicated, and general audiences aren't sticklers for graphics. If anything else about the movie sucked, it would be a big loss.
***** Animated movies aren't as high of sellers. Granted people generally love DC's animation, but I don't know how much money it would make. Piracy is big now. (If the animated movies make a lot of money, I will fully agree with you though.)
Antidisestablishmentarianist They don't sell as well because they're usually always straight-to-DVD with next to no marketing. I imagine if they brought it to theaters and gave it the marketing it deserved, it would do wonderfully. Did you know that there was a Batman movie that came out about two weeks ago? Because I didn't.
So true .... Bcoz we all love to watch Batman fight like this... But in that justice league that martial arts didn't work on Stephen wolf... Am i right ???
I know right? the fight was still challenging because Deathstroke counters almost everything buy it wasn't as epic as this trailer. the Lady Shiva fights were at least outside. Deathstroke should've made at least one more appearance in the story.
TheAtomicNinja Productions the cobra tanks weren't so bad. It's the super tanks that were frustrating because they catch up to you so fast once they either see you or you fire a shot. If they only moved as fast as cobra tanks it would've been alot less annoying.
+Bilal Abbasi] Those few, long seconds where Batman was just awkwardly standing there while Deathstroke was pointing at the bridge, and he decides to use that grapple gun move you don't get many chances to do.
I feel like Slade would be honorable enough to not take the corpse though. He's a permier merc and mostly a bad guy yeah, but he has dignity unlike most villains.
Makes sense. I don't think he would kill Lawton though. I don't know a whole lot about Slade, but I'm certain he only kills those who are on his contract.
@@ΝικόλαοςΘεοδωρίδης-γ6λ you mean he's the ultimate combination of Spider-Man and Deathstroke? Because then that'd be accurate. "Ripoff" is pushing it when Deadpool has a much different personality compared to Deathstroke. If anyone is a ripoff of a DC character, it'd be Black Cat, she is way too similar to Catwoman to have it be a coincidence.
Sorry but Mel Gibson and Stephen Lang are both too short for deathstroke. Deathstroke is taller than both superman and batman. Also you don't really need an old actor to portray deathstroke. Just give him white hair and he's set.
the latest final fantasy movie looks slightly the same but with its own, light flickering shiny twists. it also has its dark scenes which are refreshing.
I think it can be around the same as the cost of a Disney or Pixar CG animated film to make . Remember the full CG Beowulf film back from 2007? It had ground breaking photo-realistic CG for its time at a production cost of $150 million which was the same as Pixar's Ratatouille also released that year. However compared to Ratatouille which is also more of a kid-friendly movie, Beowulf didn't do too well financially. So I guess it depends if film studios are willing to take the risk again with a full CG film that's oriented towards bit more of an older audience.
Master Swaggins Well, a Batman animated movie with this quality animation and CG would do well, that I know. Plus, they could get the same VAs as Batman the animated series.
Jayvon Henderson He left to Gotham City from being Green Arrow's arch enemy. Deathstroke is a assassin, he travels around and do contracts. Now he is in Gotham City and Slade finds Batman is just in his way all the time. Now he got a bounty on killing Batman form Joker.
Gotham's Finest Were you referring to me? Because I wasn't joking, Batman might end up killing him. Unless they change his character for future movies, which I think they are probably doing.
Spencer Chua Wei Ye If Deathstroke would call you out like that, he would consider you a worthy opponment, which means that you would be badass enough to take him on. So why would you run?
mac Cea And if it going to be this intense. They will have to go with CGI. And it would look some what just like this. And someone will complain about how bad the CGI was for a real movie.
Profajl Nejm Well, for a producer to knowingly use the Actors/Actress' physical appearance, they'll have to pay them some commission don't you think. Also, let's put in mind that making cgi cost a lot and can take quite the amount of time to produce at flawless quality. -I also enjoy the cgi content better when it comes to an action-fest because I don't have to attach any sentiment to the actor acting the role of my favourite heroes/villains..
After the recent reveal of Deathstroke being in the DCEU I think this fight is a perfect example of what they should do when Deathstroke fights Batman. Don't have it be a stomp for either character but a very even and intense match which could go either way.
It wont matter considering Superman is just too much for Batman. I think there fight is going to be a ruse and the real "fight" will be lex. Like how in the new 52 Justice League they "fought" when they met but nothing to serious and then became allies once they saw they were ojn the same team. Unless they wanna go by the route that Superman accelerates to hypersonic speeds in less than a second and rips Batman in half before he can do anything but I think they need batman for the other films lol.
DarthVxderTV Actually in the comics he beat Superman 3 times (twice if we're only counting canon) Super Man was left in a coma due to Batman, SUper Man describes Batman as "The most dangerous man in the world" and "Worst person you can underestimate."
Jay O Could you name these books? In canon it has never happened. If you actually read Hush and not random comments you would know Superman was fighting mind control, not allowing himself to do anything fatal to Batman.& Tower of Babel it was Ras that modified the plan to kill them. Also in a fight Batman would never be able to use his plan. The only way he could use it would be by doing it by surprise while Superman still thought they were allies and we all know that wouldnt be a win.
DarthVxderTV Superman/Batman vol1: Public Enemies, Superman/Batman vol 2: Supergirl, Superman/Batman vol 3: Absolute Power, Superman/Batman vol 4: Vengeance, Superman/Batman vol 5: Enemies Among Us, the Dark knight Returns, the Dark Knight Strikes Again, Batman: Hush, JLA: Tower of Babel, Batman and Son, Tales of the Demon (TPB collection), Under the Hood vols 1&2
it isn't a ponytail it's like a samurai bandana. also you can see he has a katana on his right and what looks like a machete on his left. Check out the Batman v Deathstroke fight from the Arkham Origins video game.
Well one of team members involved with the movie (i forget his role) said that the fight choreography for batman was gonna be much better than nolan's batman
Has anyone else noticed that deadshot is always a responsible and "no bullshit" kind of guy when dealing with the rest of the suicide squad but gets really cocky whenever Deathstroke is around?
+Emmanuel Gonzalez Actually, the boss fight was really good. All the boss fight were good in this game, but the game in the worst of the 4 (but also that doesn't mean is a bad game, actually is a good one)
+cabezon667 yeah bro Arkham Origins definitely wasnt the worst of the 4. People just like to say that bc it wasnt made by Rocksteady and there's a hivemind mentality about games on the internet. In terms of story, emotion and character, Knight was the worst. Origins is my favorite of the series for a few key scenes and boss fights. No scene in the rest of the series made me feel as sad as when Alfred was dead. No scene made me feel as badass and angry as in the church scene when Batman is going ham on the Joker to a Christmas tune. The other games didnt have the emotion that Origins had, either in the the characters or the story. Origins earned its big moments. And they did Bane right, which the other games cant say. No other game made me respect a villain the way Origins made me respect and fear Bane.
DC or whoever better make a movie about deathstroke or batman with deathstroke and they should use this kind of armor deathstroke wearing it's cool as fuck.
In a perfect world: Batman: Ben Affleck Nightwing: Jackson Rathbone Wentworth Miller Ian Somerhalder Deathstroke: Liam Neeson Kevin Bacon Stephan Lang Can we please have a Nightwing movie by Nolan already.... Any of these A listers I would have no issue playing these characters...
Deathstroke has one eye. His mask also cuts off a lot of the vision he has to the right with his left eye. The fact that he can fight like that is unbelievable.
I think if they ever make a movie like this, Deathstroke as main villain and all, I think that at their first encounter Deathstroke should wipe the floor with Batman, as it should be, then show how Batman analyses and prepares for another fight, and only then defeats him, with preparation.
It wouldn't make sense for a 40+ experienced batman to lose to deathstroke first, because chances are, he already met and fought deathstroke. Sure if they make an origin story with a young and inexperienced batman, then him losing to deathstroke and then making a comeback. But not Ben affleck batman
Dan i wouldnt be surprised if he did, but batman has also took out wonder woman and the justice league all by himself at the same time with only martial arts
maybe it's just me but in this fight when Batman is grunting he sounds like Kevin Conroy I wonder if he did the grunting for this trailer before Roger Craig Smith was hired
Personally I think Arkham Origins would be better if Deathstroke wasn't truly defeated and thrown in jail. Since Deathstroke is the most dangerous assassin in this game, it would be awesome if he got away or escaped from prison a periodically. You'd be playing around, gliding from building to building, when Deathstroke attacks you from what seems like nowhere. You'll have to attack and counter, not like his main boss battle, but something with ingenuity. These random attacks would really spice up the game in my opinion. I hope Deathstroke is in Arkham Knight and Rocksteady makes better use of him.
brian sheehan Im not supprised :P Lion Knight pritty sure deathstroke follows the money so all it would take for him to betray joker is a big wad of cash :P
I personally strongly believe that if Ben Affleck co-writes and directs this upcoming solo movie to the fullest that he has proved he is capable of with his prior work, also with how passionate he seems and how he made very clear he is making sure the script is the best it can be before he makes any moves with regards to starting shooting, It's possible "The Batman" could be the greatest comic book movie ever made. It's a rather bold statement to make, but it's very very possible.
watching this again makes me realize one of the many reasons batman's my favorite, he actually fights brutally but has a extremely high intellect still instead of just coming in shrugging of bullets he comes in avoiding them
I don't get why so many people don't like batman arkham origins! I loved that game and I thought the boss fights were amazing. I thought they were better than most of the boss fights in batman arkham city!
The boss fight was good, but it was very anti-climactic, It would have been better if it was the penultimate fight... Or if they made it so you fought him again when you see him in Arkham...
Imagine a Batman movie with great figure scenes, Batman investigating on an assassin that is Deathstroke! Detective Skills, cool story, great fighting. Make it happen Warner!
Deathstroke had a great boss and all but other than that I didn't really like this version of Deathstroke.Deathstroke would in no way accept this bounty. When he accepts a contract, its on his terms.Deathstroke wouldn't like other assassins in his way.Slade would never lose to Batman much less an inexperienced one.He had a great fight but Deathstroke should have won or had a bigger plan that we didn't know about.
+Bryan Leong In this video, Deathstroke didnt know about the other assassins and we dont know how this fight would have ended since Deadshot intervened. The boss fight was about cleaning up unfinished buisness and restoring his reputation as the guy who doesnt let a target escape. At this point Deathstroke didnt care about the bounty anymore. He couldnt prepare the boss fight as much as normally since he, just like Batman, had to infiltrate Pinguins ship first.
Originally a soldier in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, Slade Wilson was part of an experimental super-soldier program where he gained enhanced strength, agility, healing factor and intelligence. Deathstroke became a mercenary soon after the experiment and rapidly gained a reputation as one of the world's greatest assassins.
as grey as my words would seem to you, arkham origns was a game worth it for 60 dollars on the consoles.Just because the PC version sucked doesn't mean that this game didnt give us a gripping story, epic boss battles, shock gloves, and more polished but same combat of arkham city.Oh i wish there was a game of the year edition of origins i could pirate.
If only this was an actual Batman fight from a live action movie this would be perfect I honestly think they need to make movies from all the arkham games
I think when Batman and Deathstroke will come on the big screen the movie should be directed by Joe and Anthony Russos,The Russo brothers They will do them justice with best fights and Fans will be happy
aaronam0115 the comic book version is even more badass, but yeah, outside of comics, Injustice,Teen Titans tv show, arkham origins and Arrow have the coolest versions of Deathstroke.
