I love the fact that this is just a straight up fight, instead of having to battle a giant monster or having to sneak around. Just two men slugging it out, simple, but effective.
+Paris Lopez whoever thought making it just a tank fight and ruining the chance to put a fight with deathstroke like this in arkham knight needs to have their eyes ripped out.
In my opinion, this is the best combat-oriented boss fight in the series: no interfering thugs, no required use of a recently acquired gadget, just two equals fighting for life or bounty.
it's weird how equal yet unequal slade and bruce are slade holds the advantage in the big 3 of strength speed and endurance yet bruce still keeps up with him and still kicks his ass here and there and that is why Deathstrok and batman have such a unique rivalry. slade has massive respect for bruce because he's probably the only guy on the planet who has a chance at going two to two with him in a fight.
@@sonjoku4879 it's called "deathstroke" by wordchemist ft shinobi Stalin & DJ stranger But I couldn't find any place where you can download it or listen online for some reason
the results of the experiment were successful but what it did to his brain was not it makes him completely mentally unstable when his healing factor is working
Deathstroke: the only respectable, equal, combatant of Batman's foes. No tricks like Joker, no riddles, no guns like Two-face and Penguin, no vines like Ivy, and no Ice guns like Freeze. Deathstroke is the best D.C. villain of Batman's.
@@animeking830 same but also i had this issue where i tapped the triangle too quick so I kept dying and i blamed the game for lag and glitch lmao i was so mad at the game bc of how much i sucked
Pepper Potts I still enjoyed the game though. I just feel like that Arkham Asylum and City did way better jobs at being "Batman" games. Arkham Knight was good but, the amount of times you're forced to use the batmobile gets very irritating sometimes. And the boss fights were terrible. At least the gameplay was awesome and there's no loading times. It's still a great game.
try hard fan This honestly looks really boring, not that Arkham Knights were any better, but all of the boss fights I've actually played thus far weren't that good, boss fights don't really work with the style of combat the game has
If Joker said it: Joker - “Hoo hoo, Bats! It appears the game is over before it even begins... what a shaaaame.” Batman - “I’m not playing your sick games...... Joker...”
Scarecrow was the only unique boss in Arkham Asylum. All of the other "bosses" were either a giant thing that's damaged by batarangs, or a pack of regular thughs.
This is why I love the fight scene. Deathstroke seems to be a superior combatant and fights like crazy, yet Batman fights him off with ease. Just goes to show how well trained and fearless he is.
They made him a villain in the game from the looks of it. I really don't even know why they added this fight in the game, every fight in the comics DS vs BM has ended with Deathstroke winning after about 3 hits.
11swallowedinthesea I can’t call AK shit transformers cartoon fight a boss battle. In AO slide and Bruce used all of their skills against each other Mano y mano
I am honest, He killed me twice, but I didn't use gadgets against him. It was a hand to hand combat mostly, so I fought honorably. When I took him down in my third try I did it flawlessly. No hits, only counters. It felt so good. Best battle from the series, imo.
I beat him on my first try without using the batclaw, but he got some good hits on me. My heart was still pounding the whole time. One of my favorite boss fights in any game.
I didn't use any gadgets, like the batclaw or batarang. I only used the martial skills of Bruce. Deathstroke used bombs, a katana, a bo staff and smoke grenades and still couldn't defeat batman. I fought honorably, Slade didn't.
Sky Dayer Batman has, on numerous occasions, used swords. With lethal efficiency. Batman: Hush comes to mind. In that comic he straight up impales Ra's al ghul through the torso with one.
My Name's Not 3rick! This happened to me during this boss fight I somehow knocked out Deathstroke he fell down bats were flying around him and I was stuck in the boss fight still this happened at the beginning of the boss fight what I did was trap him in a corner and just kept punching him so it glitched
This was one of my favourite boss fights across all 4 games. It's unique because it's just a straight up fight. No puzzles or creeping or running away or beating through henchmen to get the boss or chasing, it's just an epic 1 on 1. I wish the final fight against the Arkham Knight was something like this
I'm ashamed to say that this Deathstroke fight is 10x better than the one in Arkham Knight, AK one was fucking pathetic, did not show off how badass Deathstroke can really be
As someone who just played this boss fight for the first time months after I completed Arkham Knight, this made me really happy... Honestly, a great boss all around. Just the right balance of difficulty and fun, imo.
I don't get why people hate this game. Even with the bugs they gotta admit. This is one of the best boss battles in the Arkham games. Why he didn't fight the Arkham Knight in this kind of battle is stupid.
I really wish we were able to replay boss battles as like a feature of the game, I always loved this boss battle. The counter-point achievement was so satisfying...
So Ra's Al Ghul makes you do a lot of counters to keep you on your toes, pulls out a gun if you run away and has two different fighting styles through his fight? Oh wait no he doesn't because Montreal only used the sword block animation, everything else is new.
One of the best boss battles in the history of the series. Just an incredible boss fight that made you feel like Batman was facing a superior opponent and persevering.
I can only 100% agree....a fight so hard soooo early in the game forces you to get better and improve fighting style. Yet the animations looked so great I thought im in a movie
I love just how even this fight feels. it shows that Batman and Deathstroke are basically on the same level in terms of skill and mental capability. I hope that they somehow emulate this in the Ben Affleck Batman movie
Played all of the Arkham series except for origins. I don't know why nearly all the boss fights from Arkham Knight are awful considering it's such an amazing game. I don't know why they couldn't do something like this where you were taking on Jason Todd one on one, no stealth, no vehicles, just a cerebral combative chess match between two highly skilled people.
I do not like the story in Arkham Knight. I think it was to silly and just too much. I wish they would make another Batman game but with an open world. Just imagine the whole Gotham City with Wayne Manor. You can explore the whole Mansion and can walk down into the Batcave. Then you put on the Batsuit and drive with the Batmobile outside the cave, through the woods and then you are in Gotham. You can walk above the rooftops and can observe poeple in dark alleys and maybe if you see some crime you can stop it or not. And after when the sun rises you drive back. You have to do some missions as Bruce at daylight. This would be a dream come true!!!
Actually you should look for boxing games, AK had a weakness system which is in case of bane (spoiler) when you fight him and get a beat down combo batman automatically rips off one of his venom pipes which do like 4 bars of damage I liked that a lot but you are entitled to your opinion
SaVg Sour At least something similar. A combination of stealth and predator sections with hand-to-hand combat like this would have made the fight against Jason so much mor exciting!
***** Other than the repetitive part, it kinda SHOULD be hard against someone like Deathstroke/AK seeing as how one is Batman's better and the other his equal
I love this fight cause it proves how badass Batman is. He’s been a vigilante for 2 years and is fairly new at it, is hotheaded, reckless but can still defeat Deathstroke who has decades more training, is a trained mercenary former military, and is a failed medical treatment subject, Is a top notch assassin being feared amongst the world. That’s why when Batman defeated him he said “what are you” cause he couldn’t believe he was defeated by essentially a man who has nothing on Slade.
+REAPER Tell me more how people are not allowed to complain about the product THEY PAID FULL PRICE FOR IN ADVANCE just because IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO USE IT AFTER YOU HAVE PAID FULL PRICE FOR IT! IN ADVANCE! by which I mean paying before playing, not pre-order.
+MrSamulai I really doubt that they'll change a series just because of some RU-vid comment, in ak they had a unique battling system like for example you had to rip off banes pipes or whatever to get him down health in this its just sticks and stones makes the gameplay long and boring
This is probably my favourite boss battle ever as you have to think fast and improvise. They did an amazing job on this one. Fast paced, tactical and legendary.
+mrguy22494 you cant blame all to deathstroke. its damian's fault deathstroke looks shit in that film. they trying to make him better than anyone else, he beats batman, nightwing, deathstroke and the leader of the court of owl. batman was awesome in that film but batman lose to damian??
You know you did a good boss fight when almost everybody was struggling with this boss battle. I mean I freaking had to do it like eight times and I was getting angry.
One of the hardest, and most memorable, boss fights in that game. It certainly puts your quick-time batman combat to the test with his rapid fire, difficult to predict attacks and ability to counter darn near everything you throw at him.
This was so great. Deathstroke was advertised as like, the main villain, and it was so surprising that he appeared literally like an hour into the main story.
The only gripe about the game is that Deathstroke should've appeared in the game later. Or at least, give Electrocutioner an actual fight and put Deathstroke at the hotel fight rather than Bane. Save Bane for the final battle at Blackgate.
Damn! I wanna see Deathstroke in a stand alone Batman movie. No Superman,Wonder woman,Green Arrow,Flash...nobody else, except for Batman vs Deathstroke.
There's supposedly a stand alone Ben Affleck Batman film going to be released around 2018 or 2019,which Affleck will be starring in and directing. Seeing as Affleck's Batman is so brutal and rough around the edges,Slade Wilson(Deathstroke) would make the perfect villain/adversary to Ben Affleck's Batman in that reboot.
+Don Scott I think just that for a whole movie might be boring, not to mention Deathstroke wouldn't show up without a reason, they should have some one they haven't show before, like The Penguin or the Mad Hatter, as a main villain who puts a bounty on Batman towards the end, and then Deathstroke shows up to collect on it and they have an epic fight, that would be cooler imo.
Yeah, that would be interesting to see. Kinda like in "Arkham Origins",where the bounty was put on Batman's head by "Black Mask" and all of those villians wanted to collect it,by trying to kill him.
+mojojojo m Tell me about it, watching this video makes hate as well as wish gamers could fight Deathstroke in the Arkham Knight on account of I love fighting him. Plus he is one of my top 5 favorite villains! What should have happened is that Batman defeated his tank and while he investigated it, Slade would ambush him.
It would have been sick if we fought Deathstroke twice; the first time being this battle in which DS underestimates Batman and loses his cool and the second battle being completely optional but the most ridiculously op crazy fight in the game as he would be going all out, using his guns, ect...
That would have been awesome. Love this fight and having it either end with a withdrawal from either character and then having them face again would have have been epic.
This fight is so much better with the counter indicator off. Literally makes you rely on your instincts and timing. Which really immerses you in the game
This was one of the best boss battles in the series IMO. Just straight up hand to hand combat with another badass who is as equally capable as batman. No stealth, no huge boss, no repeating the same steps in a certain order. I actually felt challenged. I was pissed off In Arkham knight when you battle Deathstroke because it was just another dumb tank battle when I thought it was gonna be a rematch of this AO fight. Plus in Arkham knight Deathstroke went out like a bitch he got punched by Batman in mid air and that was that.
I was surprised and very happy when I saw DeathStroke takes Arkham Knight's place. I expected a fight like this. Hell I expected a fight like this with Arkham Knight as well. Nobody pays attention to Arkham Origin but this fight was probably the best boss fight in the series.
That just shows how boss Batman is, he's nothing but pure skill and he still kicked the shit out of Slade who is professionally trained and also has Mirakuru inside him.
Richard Darmody Even in the comics slade has a serum that enhances his abilities much like the mirakuru. Arrow just changed the name and circumstances it is given to slade.
Deathstroke underestimated bats as this was early in bat's career. Unfortunately for slade batman is not a man to hold back against whilst fighting. You heard his overconfidence slade was mocking batman, sure of victory so he failed.
I love the fact that during the little grable scenes deathstroke is seen having slightly upper hand in strength. Good emphasis that while batman might be a peak human and extremely strong. Deathstroke is still a super soldier thanks to the serum and still has the upper hand in strength. But batman strength is said to be borderline superhuman. Imean the guy trains like one so it would make sense
This game bosses > arkham knight bosses. It does not matter if this game was not made by rocksteady, rocksteady freaking drop the ball with bosses on arkham knight.
This is supposed to be a younger Batman correct? If that is the case, no way does he beat Deathstroke. Slade would not lose this fight in the DC universe, like a previous poster said Deathstroke has never lost to Batman 1v1. The few times the Bat has beaten Slade he has had help. Deathstroke is a strait beast. We're talking a guy who has single handily taken down the Justice League. No no Bats not today not ever! Deathstroke owns you.
No matter how good slade is- people are not thinking creatures who happen to feel, they feeling creatures who happen to think. So getting slade off his game plan is still a possibility even for younger batman.
Yeah...i was playing this bossfight yesterday and...i mean, Bruce is amazing 1 v 1, one of the best in the DC universe but this is Deathstroke's specialty, his 1v1 skills are close to Wonderwoman (And Superman said Wonderwoman it's the best close quarters fighter ever) Still, i don't know, it's a Batman game, makes sense.
Wouldn't it have made more sense to have Slade Wilson as a villain in next batman game rather than this one. A younger, less experienced Batman beating Deathstroke just doesn't sound right.
nickyboy22071989 this game would be better if they just gave the chance to more villains to play a big role instead of the Joker over and over and all over again.
