@@lifebydesign9435 Batman has plowed through dozens of men and punched them in the head and body dozens of times and you expect anyone to believe that they didn't succumb to skull fractures, concussions and brain bleeds. Jim Gordon already allowed a mentally unbalanced vigilante with the strength of an Olympic boxer punch people in the head all across the city. Jim comes off as a sanctimonious asshole. Also, just once, I wish that Batman did kill Bane to save Gordon and that Batman would have to live with the guilt and Gordon would show some gratitude and let him go.
I loved how this game managed to give us the genius Bane from the comics to make up for the disappointing boss fight in Asylum but still kept continuity by showing how Bane because the mindless brute in that game and why he barely looked human
That’s what Seth Gecko (George Clooney) said to his brother Ritchie (Quentin Terantino) in From Dusk Till Dawn, right before he drove a stake through his heart.
Yousuf Razwan in the first half of the video sure, if Bane looked like the bumbling oversized dipshit in the second half of the video nobody would ever take him seriously. This games depiction of Bane was regarded as the best in the Arkham series, but obviously that was for when he was rocking a coat, not 1200 extra pounds of muscle
This part really scared me when I was a kid. I was constantly on edge when he started going back to the same spots and checking locations I never even went to yet.
@Dick Biggles The only "gun" that could actually damage him is a shotgun to the head close up or a mini gun. In the comics he was shot many times and it did nothing
@@slurp3194 He discovered Batman's identity by comparing what he said and what Bruce Wayne said. Eariler in the game, Bruce Wayne says "You just ran out of time". Batman says "You just ran out of time" to Bane in their first fight. Bane put the two together and figured out Batman's identity.
Not at all. Like Joker he was exploiting his code. He could either die at Bane' hands, kill Bane, or if he failed to kill Bane quick enough Joker would die. As Batman's code is to not kill, this limitation would give Bane a psychological advantage over his opponent due to his moral conundrum of what was supposed to be a no win situation. Bane was playing smart and planning to kill Batman and Joker in one blow by winning.
@@lukebrown7328 I think you need to replay the game and remember this is a young Joker who is more of an anarchist and reckless than the older Arkham Joker. As a reminder he took over Black Mask's operation and even though he was running it proceeded to dismantle most of what was a successful operation that was running smoothly just because that was boring. During the battle on the roof top when he saw Bane pull out a rocket launcher instead of taking cover he waited for the rocket (clearly relishing the moment). And when Batman dived after him Joker tried to kill him despite Batman ultimately saving him. After confronting Batman on the ground and shooting his two thugs that were menacing Batman, he then points his gun at his own head prompting Batman to save Joker (which delighted Joker). So clearly Joker has no problem with dying or self harm. When it came to the battle royale with Bane in Blackgate Joker clearly was content with any option. Either Batman would save him by killing Bane or both Batman who he had become obsessed with would die with him. You can tell he was content to die when Jim Gordon tried to rescue him. He restrained Gordon and out the electric chair hat on him but kept holding Gordon. Meaning he would still die if Bane did not. He was clearly fine with dying if it made a point.
Your crazy if you think Bane isn’t a match for Batman. Him and Deathstroke are probably the best fighters Batman has faced. In many comics Deathstroke and Bane have beaten Batman
@Ib7 h Bruh joker never intended to kill himself smh...It was all apart of his plan?Dont forget that he fooled everyone he was black mask...including batman for a short time
DC hav got their comics , animations and even games to be the best. Still not understanding how they make the worst possible movies. :( Justice League was the worst. BvS had good Batman moments.
Arun Kumar justice league dark apocalypse war is actually the story of Justice League 2 and 3 had the synder storyline was allowed to continue but it would’ve required 3 Rated-R movies and WB was not willing to try it. Too be fair the casting for Lex and Barry were shit in live action
Do you really think that: Man Of Steel, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Shazam, Joker, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Constantine, V for Vendetta etc. are the worst possible movies? Come on, stop being a dumb Marvel fan.
@Moa Moa if you search for what is going on, you'd know that Man Of Steel isn't their priority now, but it'll be released; Henry Cavill is still Superman. And about Gordon's ethnicity, that's just a detail, nothing that will change the whole movie. Anyway, I believe that The Batman will be a success as well as Joker was. *BvS wasn't "the worst possible movie" and almost everyone who watched the extended version liked that.
Arkham city & asylum had the best boss fights! Still think city tops it though. I just bought Origins & Arkham knight. Hoping both are close to as good as city & asylum but either way they should be good at 5 bucks you cant beat that lol
@@peterc504 the boss fights in asylum were pretty lame; repeating bane boss with the titans monsters and joker was lame. Poison ivy boss was the only good boss in adulum
For a game that doesn’t get put alongside the other Arkham games for there quality. This story telling was really good. Seeing this scene put it my mind that a conversation between band and joker happened telling bane that Batman doesn’t/won’t kill. And bane and joker put together a plan that would force Batman’s hands. Batman’s solution, relying on gameplay, is fine but underwhelming. But I would like to see more developed evil scenes like this put on paper
Does it irk anyone else when a big guy like Bane grabs the good guy by the neck and strangles him for a good 30 seconds or so then just decides to throw him away? Like Batman didn't do anything for the first 30 seconds, you'd think Bane would figure out "Huh, maybe I can just kill him" but noooo.
7:06 The subtitles mention Joker talking about how Batman never let's him finish. Ironically enough, Batman interrupts him before he even gets to that point
I don't care what they say about arkham origins, it was my second favourite game in the series aside from the very first one. It had very dumb combat, same as all other games, and it didn't have common voice cast, but it had great cinematic cutscenes, great villain scenes, very cool gadgets, memorable boss fights (I still remember battle with deathstroke in the arena and with bane on the rooftop of the hotel), and it is darker, with good music, and great graphics. I liked the snow very much. I liked the batcave, Bane's assault on it, I like the development of relationship between main hero and main antagonist, Gordon, his daughter and others. Hell, even Killer Croc was so badass in the very first boss fight, looking like a total gangster in those leather shoes and striped slacks with suspenders flapping around his legs. It sure did have this dumb "sniff every corner of the game map for 100% completion" thing but it did well on delivering the story for the very least. The only disappointment with the game for me was the reward for collecting all riddler's flash drives. Unlike Riddler's rewarding scenes in Asylum and City, it was just empty. But the city was well done, detailed, and this very same dumb combat felt better because of Deathstroke's remote claw and disruptor. And immature angry Batman is a very different beast, unlike his classic version.
1 thing I appreciate about Origins is Gordan. When I hear people talk about this game I never hear about Gordan. I love how they make Gordan not trusting of Batman, because he's a vigilante, but over the game you see how he sees more of Batman than being a killer, an criminal and I think it's well done
ARe there any other good JoJo series? I watched the very first one with Dio. It was pretty good but I just couldnt find any others ones that are as good as that series? Do any exist?
Just get a gaming pc for 4 to 5 hundred.Get access to millions of free mods that change the game.Much much much much better than console, plus xbox one controller works on pc so its a win win.
I hate how the cops legit kill every criminal they see and say we need more help and shit but as soon as Batman kills one of the most lethal and ruthless criminals he has to deal with, and he goes off the fucking hook. It makes n sense
