Nice video, thanks! I can answer why they have NOT used quick-release hardware! It's a security decision, as it is essentially designed to be a commuter town-bike. Other non town-bike models such as Delta, Delta Plus etc... all come with QR. I'm just coming up to 600 miles on my Delta Plus. I added the computer display (optional extra) and long-range battery. The only very minor niggle (which people should be aware of) with the display, is that the battery is designed to shut down after 10 minutes of no use, so if you stop for a break longer than 10 minutes, the trip-odometer resets! I instead keep an app called 'Cyclone' going in the background on my phone. That accurately keeps the mileage and route. The bike itself has been absolutely rock solid. No issues whatsoever.

The downside to quick release wheels is precisely that - thieves can remove a wheel in seconds. A spanner is cheaper than buying a special lock for the front wheel. Having done my own survey of how bikes are locked in Carlisle I am appalled by the flimsiness of most locks or no lock at all. Thanks for the review and it seems a quality bike.
