Hocam merhabalar, Vehicle-to-Grid konsepti üzerinde çalışıyorum ve sizin videolarınız gerçekten çok işime yaradı öncelikle bunun için teşekkür ederim. Bi-Directional converter ve controller konusunda bir soru işareti yok aklımda ancak size sormak istediğim benim bu sistemi bir inverter kullanarak şebekeye bağlamam gerekiyor. Ve işin içine şebeke kısmı da dahil olunca alternatifler çok fazla Simulink'te. Bu konuda bir tavsiyesiniz olur mu şu bloğu kullanabilirsin veya şu yöntemi takip edebilirsin gibi? Sevgiler, teşekkür ederim.

Thank you sir. It's a very very helpful video. But sir i have used bidirectional non isolated dc dc converter topology to charging the battery for electric vehicles. Means in charging station. So sir how can i makr simulate model for the automation closed loop PID controller for bidirectional dc dc converter. It will be very helpful for me.

good work thanks sir to share your work I have a question if I want to charge battery and discharge but with other dc-dc converter how to do that by other converter but same work of buck and boost

this is a bidirectional converter. If you only charge or discharge you may use one of them (buck or boost). But, if you want to discharge the battery within the same connection, you may use two ways. You may use an additional converter which is connected between the battery terminals and load. Other way is using the bidirectional converter in this study.

Yes In place of the DC battery part add a Rectifier with a Regulator . Thats it your model is ready!!!

while charging the battery, the battery current will be negative as current is entering into the battery, while discharging it will be positive.

Respected. Sir i am student of. Electrical engineering .i watch all of your videos its very helpfull for mee . I am also design to start my model for as university is provide me thesis to search on that topic. I am having less knowledge related to this . I see video on youtube in which a 100 kw soler system connected with a 25 kv system . I make 60 percent model in matlab but i not properly design the Mppt Controler and its parameter design . Hello Can I ask ,I am a student and I made a simulation of solar powered vehicle using a PV array, Boost converter and DC motor. But the simulation result were wrong, that it gave a high amount of the output current as also the torque even though that the curve of speed is correct. Can you advice me what should I change!

Can you please post your simulation settings ? I am not getting the graph as fast as you are. MATLAB is simulating the battery charging in real time and i will have to run the simulation for hours to get a complete picture of charge variation. Please help.

Thanks for your interest. I have not any other video about this topic. Because, system parameters can change for type of battery and application area. In addition, charge and discharge limits can defined from user. Because of that, a general system design is not possible for this topic. But, if you have a problem, I may help to you. If you want, you can anlyze of my paper that include battery system "An Inverter Design for A New Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator".

What are the parameters should we consider for the control algorithm for the battery

Some system parameters should known for determine the charge and discharge situations. CV and CC limits should known and minimum SOC limit should be defined. Besides these, charge and discharge situations can be change with system type. I only share an example for these. You can prepare a controller for your system.

Sir, when you connect battery to the load its discharging and when connecting it to the source it is charging then what is the need of bidirectional converter here??

First of all, it is an example. If we remove the converter, we can't control the battery current. In this case, overcurrents may flow. And, if you have a dc bus, you may control power direction and power flow. But the systems may confuse to explain here.

Merhaba, öncelikle nasıl bir sistem planlıyorsunuz? Şebekeden nasıl bir bataryayı şarj edeceksiniz gerilim ve güç seviyeleri nedir? Bunlara göre sistem tipi değişiklik gösteriyor. Özellikleri söyleyebilirsen ona göre önerilerim olabilir. Kolaylıklar dilerim.

If the PV system will supply to EVs, you may connect it only a converter. But, if you want to supply more than one EV, you should use a DC bus and cars should be charged from separated converters. And also, you may need external storage in the charging station. It depends on your system design.

If you keep mouse at the right-hand side of the goto block, you can see a blue mark. If you click it, you can make its from block.

@@nakiguler Sir, I am making a MATLAB project on optimization of PV battery system, through the use of Simulink. I proceeded to integrate the PV and battery system, thanks to you for uploading this awesome informative video. To further add up let's imagine that the grid is demanding power from the PV+Battery system and we need to control the power flow such that the battery life is increased by decreasing the charging and discharging cycles. I designed a flow chart to do so, but implementation in Matlab is a big challenge as it has only been a week since I started using the software, In short, I need the guidance of your expert knowledge in this regard as I've to submit the report of the simulation before 2nd Jan 2021 to my coordinator. Would you help me through this task? I might brief you up through email if you like, kindly let me know about your interest. Thanks for reading! Best wishes!

48V is a bus voltage, so it didn't use to charge the battery. It is the nominal voltage of the load.
