Amazing. Please clear we always connect parallel cells with series so how the BMS will control parallel cells to overcharge , over discharge etc . For example 3s 4p battery pack .

Thanks for sharing your knowledge I have questions with respect to cell balancing please help me 1.when this cell balancing will occur is it when charging the battery or when any cell goes more then rated voltage. 2.can you please explain how changing in battery will happence 3. please explain how this scenario works Suppose a battery contain 4 cell in it 0v is minimum 5v is maximum 3.5 is the normal operating voltage If one cell goes to 1.5v and am using passive cell balancing method and remaining cell are at 3.5 voltage Please explain when charging will happence and when cell balancing will occur

1. When cell goes more than 4.2v its ic dwo1 cuts off that cell 2 . To change entire battery just desolder and resolder the entire battery In order to replace any single cell just complete one charge discharge cycle 3. Thier is individual cell monitoring not the battery pack as a whole so this problem won't occur in the first place So it is certainly a problem with passive cell balancing thats why individual cell balancing is used in BMS boards However if your cells are totally identical which is very rare then they won't drift apart much. However i would have to say your questions were really great...

Some batteries are written as P- ID TH P+ in some battery protection board written as P+ SCL SDA p-. Please let me know what is SCL and SDL on battery BLP571

SCL is the clock and SDA is the data line used to connect to an external microcontroller this is the I2C communication protocol. For the information about bsi and btemp refer to the datasheet of the board...

Thanks a lot.it means a lot to me... Sorry to say but Thier is not anything such as an infinite energy system or free energy... However if you want to connect an ac generator, connect it to the output terminals of the BMS of your battery pack where you connect your load terminals...

A BMS is having 3 point , namely B-, P-, & C-. C- & B+ve is for charging port, P- & B+ve is for discharging/power port and B- connected to Battery pack -. But I purchased one BMS which is having only B+ve and PACK-, the single port come out for charging and discharging/power as I presume. Another point B- is connected as usual to battery -ve. Will you pl clarify the single port can make is both for charging and discharging?

Yes it is possible to have a single port but that is not a very good bms as it only offers balance charging but no over current or low voltage protection.

Bms are designed on pcb for application specific tasks and does the following as mentioned in video. To design own customised Bms, industries use the specific ics according to thier requirements from several brands like ti or vishay and sometimes even fabricate the entire board ground up....

Bms needs no charge. Charge your batteries normally as you would without a bms

Its simple just match the battery pack voltage to the solar panel output nominal voltage or use a mppt or pwm solar charge controller and then connect it to the bms. for more details check out my video series about solar panels...

Bhaiya Maine 25.9v 19.2Ah lithium ion battery purchase ki hai. Usme bms bhi inbuilt h.Mai is battery ka use e-cycle banane mei kiya but jaise hi speed badhate h waise hi connection chhut jati hai. Kya problem ho sakta h.

Make sure to use a bms designed for lifepo4 battery. So go for a 15s bms with a current rating according to your load or greater than 24A.

My 17s battery pack is not charging above 69v I have series 13s and 4s bms There is a bit of unbalance in the cells about ± 0.05 volts Also the bms cuts the power at only at 61 volts about 3.56 per cell Please 🙏 tell me the reason so I can repair it (About two times the positive and negative terminal also get short fow a few second with bms installed)

Maybe you are measuring the open circuit voltage and load voltage may dip due to battery's internal resistance being too high Or could be a problem with some of the cells

Internal resistance of 18650 is too high It's not designed for such high current applications You will be degrading the battery by doing so
