I'd like to hear him play without the backtrack... it sound almost too good to be true. I've seen and heard many covers of Metallica... even by pros and they do not have sound this good... even with software and EMGs... I think the volume of the backtrack is overtaking the actual guitar sound. Suspicious... lol.
@@blockminer7491 Dude MOP wasn't recorded with EMG. It wasn't even recorded with active pickups. It was recorded with Invader pickups wich is why his tone lacks a lot of mids and "muddines" of the album. But still the tone is great.
Listen more carefully, there’s places where you can tell it’s his guitar (especially during the solos). The rhythms are definitely almost indistinguishable from the studio recording
lol I use a Floyd Rose tremolo and I absolutely hate changing strings. Takes me like an hour just to get it back in tune. But worth it for the nutzo bends and whammy stability.
as a beginner guitarist, i can easily say that is aspire to get to your level some day. your tone is spot on, along with your overall playing skills. amazing cover, man!
hey kirk ... i know that's you ... kirk ,,, answer me .... you now owe me one computer monitor ,as I uncontrollably started to head bang and just broke mine .thanks a lot . perfect cover man . i enjoyed it .and wish i could play 1/2 as good .
I thought the same-- but that's one of those things ordinary people in a crowd wouldn't notice in a million years--just the loving, judgemental fraternity of guitarists. : )
