I'd like to hear him play without the backtrack... it sound almost too good to be true. I've seen and heard many covers of Metallica... even by pros and they do not have sound this good... even with software and EMGs... I think the volume of the backtrack is overtaking the actual guitar sound. Suspicious... lol.

It could, he plays a part of the main riff wrong. Still, probably the best cover I've ever seen.

@@blockminer7491 Dude MOP wasn't recorded with EMG. It wasn't even recorded with active pickups. It was recorded with Invader pickups wich is why his tone lacks a lot of mids and "muddines" of the album. But still the tone is great.

Listen more carefully, there’s places where you can tell it’s his guitar (especially during the solos). The rhythms are definitely almost indistinguishable from the studio recording

On a floyd rose guitar its explainable but on les pauls, naaah

lol I use a Floyd Rose tremolo and I absolutely hate changing strings. Takes me like an hour just to get it back in tune. But worth it for the nutzo bends and whammy stability.

LP's are the BEST!!! lol Stock pickups sound awesome also. I have an Epiphone Studio LP and there is such a deep tone in the neck pickup

MOP was recorded on a les Paul with stock pickups is what I've heard.

MoP was recorded with passives

You do need to go from the thid to fourth but the last on before the chorus it goes from g to f#

Actually , there are two guitars . One goes down the other goes up creating harmony during the song. He chose to play the one that goes down
