Its ever a good idea to ground in the trunk.. I know some people do it and don't have problems but a lot do. The ones that don't have problems you can still see the negative effects if you measure the readings. I did a video on the battery relocation for my CB7 and explain why if your interested. Apperciate the feedback! Ive never had an issue with relocating batteries to the trunk. Gotta make sure to have plenty of grounds (Not only in the back, but the engine compartment too) and the alternator cable to the fusebox and fusebox to the battery step up to a 0 gauge to not have a drop in the aperage/voltage from the charging system.
