Seeing this interesting combination reminded me of when AU’s were really popular, like Swaptale where two specific character pairings that are somewhat similar switch personalities/roles. In that one, Alphys wields axes as head of the Royal guard. What I’m trying to get at is that Berdley wields a unique weapon known as a Halberd (good one, Toby) which is primarily used as a spear, but sorts an axe head for heavier and stronger attacks. Most likely a complete coincidence, that is all.
