Here's a VRC6+N163 chiptune arrangement of the Area Zero/Paradox Pokémon battle music from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
I had trouble deciding which version of this track to cover, so I sort of combined them :]
N163 slap bass sample made by / thepotatowhisperer
I managed to figure out how to make some cool synth bass sounds with N163, but I tried for hours and failed at making a good-sounding slap bass sound. VinylCheese is a wizard, idk how they do it lol
Created in Dn-FamiTracker. Feel free to use in your own videos and content, so long as you credit me appropriately.

I love how you used elements from both the normal battle theme and the paradox version of the theme in this, it comes together really well! This theme is definitely one of my favorites from the game and it really translated well into 8bit!

@@branflakes325 The nsfplay "bug" is such a shame, but like, the synthesia extension is so cool... I guess we have the video for that though. I explained the situation to my archivist friend and he was like "so that means the whole cover is technically a lie, like there wouldn't have been any way to hear that on the original hardware" and I was like "well I guess so, but also, SLAP BASS"

This is so amazing, probably the best 8bit version of this song I've found so far. Are you planning to make the proffesor battle theme as well? it's basically a variation of the area zero theme too after all.
