I have 3 songs in mind from BB that are very Power Metal with good bombastic melodies and rhythm that makes you bow your head! Battle Beast-Straight To The Heart Battle Beast - Let it roar Battle Beast - I Want The World... And Everything In It
In this song queen Noora , goes very wild... So powerful voice. So in love with her flexible voice. The drummer of the band is a hero...keeps pace and rythm from start to finnish ... and it is so difficult... great job man.
-Let it Roar ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0LSHF73w_eo.html -Familiar Hell ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P3k7r_U8b40.html -Touch in the Night (If you say King for a Day sounds like Glam Metal mixed with Abba, which i agree, then with this song, if you close your eyes and listen to it, you will definitely believe what you're listening is actually Abba and not Battle Beast) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-enSmON-pcpA.html -Bringer Of Pain (Really fast song and truly metal) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pBpv_pcUEIQ.html
This makes me anxious for you to check out songs like "Out Of Control" (Also, Sabaton covered this song, so you may wanna check that out, too - double header?), "Straight To The Heart", "Let It Roar", "Bastard Son Of Odin" etc. My personal favorite is "Straight To The Heart" and comes with some super high vocal parts and almost Sabaton sounding keyboards. But, just to let you know, the band has a history of being very experimental on their albums. They generally do have an overarching consistant sound of sort of 80's Heavy Metal and power metal in all of their forms, but they also have songs that can be borderline 80's pop, like "Touch In The Night" and "Dancing With The Beast", or even more gothic symphonic metal like "Lost In Wars" (which features Amorphis' lead singer, Tomi Joutsen doing guest vocals). They are a very diverse, but consistantly good band, one of my favorites. There is something there for everyone.
Michael D Mac why would I call you a heretic? Music is subjective. I prefer the original, even though Sabaton is my favorite band. But I also heard the original first, so that might have had something to do with it as well. ;) In the end, they're both good, so I can't blame anyone for liking one more than the other.
The song is so different to Black Ninja due to them kicking out their main songwriter (Anton Kabanen, the founder of Beast in Black), and replacing him with Janne Björkroth, brother of the keyboardist and the guitarist from Brymir (A kickass Finnish folk metal band, you should check them out). I'd recommend Beyond the Burning Skies from Janne's era, and Into the Heart of Danger from Anton's era.
Great pick guys! After hearing your review on Black Ninja I went to listen to all of their videos a few days ago. I really dig the updated 80's throwback sound from these guys. I might have to pick up thier CD.
Next song definitely IRON HAND. And especially the Official live version ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q2HAi9vkSno.html .. It has great quality and production. Album version sounds like a demo compared to this live version.
I discovered them with Black Ninja, which is still one of my favourite. I feel like King for a Day is one of the better songs on their new album. I love Beast in Black's Blind and Frozen more than just about any Battle Beast songs. Just establishing some commonality, here. Now for some recommendations... Out of Control should be a must!!! If you like songs with an 80's feel, check out Out in the Streets, In the Heart of Danger and Touch in the Night. And for something different, if you like power ballads, check out Savage and Saint. Have fun guys!!
Their song "Bringer Of Pain" is like old school speedmetal, and "touch in the night" again is kind of like metal madonna :D They have many great inspirations from decades back.
To me BB's best album was the 1st one, Steel, with Nitte. Check out "Iron Hand" live in Paris. Insane riff with the quite a personal voice of Nitte. (And btw., they were opening for Nightwish when the video was shot.) "Band of the Hawk" is another great one from that record as well.
My first 'contact' with battle beast was the song unholy saviour. If you like Nooras voice, then you definitely should give that song a shot and listen how she builds up the power in the vocals!
I was born in 98 and I immediately heard some kind of 80s pop rock sonorities to it. Can't really describe it more but I definitely felt like this song wasn't written from a contemporary band. Loved it though!
Battle Beast is open to the more pop aspect of metal, and they explored more of this on their most recent album. I'm don't mind the variation in their songs, but the heavier ones tend to be my favorites. One of my faves is "Unholy Savior."
If you want to go for another song completely different from what you listened to so far, I'd recommend "Lost in Wars" from their Bringer of Pain album. A collaboration with Amorphis' Tomi Joutsen with a nice industrial (nearly Rammstein) vibe. My favorite from that album, though, probably is Beyond the Burning Skies, because I simply love Noora's voice on that song.
And as mentioned by others, Let it Roar or Straight to the Heart are also great, one that hasn't gotten much mention would be Touch in the Night ... but I think you'd get a kick out of Wild Child the most.

You should react to the first Finnish rock group ever, without that one, you wouldn't ever hear these new metal songs. So, react to Hanoi Rocks!
Well as you both like Sabaton, you should check Sabaton guitarist and back-vocalist (Tommy) band Reinxeed. Reinxeed is Power-metal band and Tommy is main singer and guitarist in this band. Reinxeed - MONEY MONEY MONEY (ABBA cover) as you were talking about ABBA. ReinXeed - Temple Of The Crystal Skulls
I’d go the same way with Autry! King for a Day and Black Ninja are still pretty tame songs by them. They have much more powerful songs. Let It Roar, Bastard Sons of Odin, Kingdom, Lionheart, Out of Control, Straight to the Heart.
I think they've lost their power since the main composer Anton left the band and made Beast In Black. By the way try to check some Greek bands like Firewind or Wardrum (singing Yiannis of Beast In Black).
So we got a 80's heavy metal freak and some young blood... Here's a challenge for both :) Battle Beast - Wild Child ... W.A.S.P. cover maybe better than the original
I know I’m super late! But if you’re a fan of Abba then check out their song Touch in the Night. It’s literally a itala disco song with some metal guitars lol
Great reaction for a really great song. Love Battle Beast too. Please remember my recommendation for Cypecore. They have released their new album yet. Would be a good time for a reaction to for example „The Alliance“. Keep on guys. Love your channel 👍🤘
First, sorry for my bad English. I like the comparsion to Abba and glamrock, especially the arrangements and the use of Keyboards. I personally would put them a bit later, so in the time of Bon Jovi and Europe and Gary Moore (Out in the Fields and so) since the guitar techniques are way more 'advanced' as Twistet Sisters and these guys. But I very much like your analyze!!
From Battle Beast: Unholy Savior, Lionheart, Kingdom, Iron Hand, Let It Roar, Out Of Control. And do react more also to Beast In Black, Anton Kabanen with his new band after he got kicked out of BB. They make the same style that Battle Beast used to do (which I prefer more) and the new album is kickass, for example: Born Again: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TZcWVsDSqpE.html Blood Of A Lion: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2DCpMJjKAPQ.html Eternal Fire: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qIIcP8PywpQ.html And as all of these are high energy songs, for you to relax after those, a great ballad: Ghost In The Rain - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ufWmBOahhrE.html And, as so many times before, I plead you to react to Moonsorrow! It might be something new and a bit differerent, but I bet you will like the melodies in their songs.
To be honest, watching your sabaton reactions i knew it would come to this(battle beast).Really enjoying watching you two lads! Please do a reaction on Nightfall by Blind Guardian!cheers
hi guys!! you should do somenthing about Kamelot in the concert "one cold winter's night" could be the songs "march of mephisto or Elizabeth" hugs from México 😉
You should give "Enter The Metal World" by Battle Beast a listen. It's super cheesy, but it's still one of my favourite songs, I'm also very fond of their last frontwoman, Nitte Valo :) Someone else requested this already, but I second that: Iron Hand ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q2HAi9vkSno.html from the same album. Also pretty fantastic, lots heavier riffs!
Check out Touch in the night if you happen to like Battle Beast. Im not the biggest fan of them, but that song is rather good. And I am also a huge fan of old rock bands like Europe, Scorpions, Dio, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, Journey, The Police, Billy Idol and so on :) Here is the Touch in the night: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-enSmON-pcpA.html
Hello I wanted to recommend a video about the public of Argentina in the recitals, it is the best thing that there is, the video is called argentina best crowd ever. regards!
I sign the message of the song. New leaders come from the political establishment even if they don't come from the same party. The oligarchs, secret societies, international organizations behind them policians are the same, and they do the same shit again and again, and if you think their first interest is to serve the people, their voters, you're wrong. Noora Louhimo is one of the top female voices in metal, beautiful clean voice and raspy rock voice (hard to believe it's the same woman), and her wild attitude carries through. But you haven't got half of it until you see her live.
#HEYGUYS Please, please, please check out "Cypecore - The Alliance". They are a Industrial/ Melodic Death/ Thrash Band from Mannheim, Southern Germany (which is close to where I'm from). I'm 100% certain that you would enjoy this very, very much :)
If you want some new Finnish power metal, check out Arion! They are a bunch of 20-year-olds and about to release their second album this year. This is one of the singles from the upcoming album: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7kq0AdjPUUU.html
Hey guys! Check out Ms. Nitte Valo of Burning Point. She's the former badass singer of Battle Beast. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NQ55eycuCos.html
I really want to like this band more but I really feel like they lost something when Anton was kicked out. It feels like all the pieces are still there but they aren't just as sharp as they used to be. There is less feeling of danger in the riffs and the build ups don't flow as nicely.
Noora brought bettee vocals in Battle Beast. They succeeded very well after kicking out Anton and for now for me Battle Beast did better album than Beast in Black. It was ok but not as brilliant that I expected. Great live bands both and talented.
