Today on Cringe, we're taking a look at possibly the strangest fandom in the universe: Battle for Dream Island. Honestly, you guys are in another reality... and I like it. Twitter: / gated_verb Instagram: / gated_verb

I remember when the first few episodes of BFB aired and I was looking at references to draw the characters. There were no images whatsoever of shipping or NSFW content. Now when I just search BFB on google images, it’s really easy to find this kind of stuff on there.
"Your brain cells leak out of your ears and you'll never find them again" You're wearing headphones They will be stored in the headphones You'll find them again There's still hope
See, one time I saw a Dreamcast BIOS corruption with an infinite line that extends to the end of the universe. That is where Bell's string is attached.
at 5:57 its a refrence to a episode of BFB where there is a side plot of all the eliminated contestents trying to get out of the area they were eliminated (don't remember the name of the place) and the only way out is up a forest of tree like fours, which the eliminated contestents don't know leads to Four's mouth, so everytime they reach there arms out Four needs to swallow them back in. There's ya context.
As a BFDI veteran, I have to say, that the people now have ruined it, the past is what made it great. everyone who actually liked it for what it is, have a pancake 🥞
Dude I remember this show vaguely and just remembered when it was just enjoyable little cartoons of living objects. It was just so simple and that's what made it fun Now I look it up years later and see iceberg videos, ships, and see that the series has been going on for far too long and has been milked. It's depressing honestly
oh god ghe one with the arms in Four's mouth has actual canon context, obviously it wasnt sexualized at ALL but just- you would need to see episodes 13-15 to understand-
Literally over half the video is of you browsing rule 34 I feel really sorry for you- Despite the fact BFDI is really broad in terms of the age range- rule 34 just has to glue itself to the ground, and the fact people can also get super creative with making this stuff is bewildering and petrifying at the same time
I've been doing these videos for almost four years so I'm used to it. By now, I admire (kind of) the boundless creativity these artists have but they are strange indeed.
5:59 this sounds REALLY WEIRD out of context but pillow got swallowed by four and their team wanted to find her and four swallowed them, and they kept sticking their arms out of fours mouth. That’s what’s going on in that picture
I loved this show as a little kid and still follow Cary and Michael, but whenever anything gets a certain amount of popularity there's gonna be diaper fetish pics of it all over DeviantArt. If you are an adult and have never had nostalgia for the show, it definitely can seem pretty cringe, especially after seeing the community, but trust me when I say that BFDI is really clever at times, and has a level of charm that's up there with the other great animators of RU-vid. Even if you're not a fan, you can't deny it's impressive that they created such a successful series at the age of 12.
@@spitfirebirdThat’s the thing about fetishes and kinks. They’re incomprehensible, you just look at a piece and think: why am I fascinated by this? But yeah, I don’t understand why diaper kinks exist… It just seems weird. It’s a piece of clothing for babies (typically)
"has anyone asked that question" they actually have contestants have tried to climb up the string but she got lightning to stop them! "isn't leafy flammable" yeah he's burned her to ash a couple of times
I'm glad I grew up out of the shipping stuff and moved on with the normal community side, but these monstrosities makes me think more of what the heck, happened to children
I remember watching BFDI during my childhood. I used to draw these characters when I was in elementary, and now I’m in Senior High School as an MLP: FiM fan (Brony), and I didn’t know the series is still alive. And yes, every cartoon fandom always have their ships.
Been watching bfdi since I was a very small child. And by very small I mean since I was old enough to figure out that "NO BLOCKY I LIKE COINY MORE" means I promise we aren't all like this
