Dang that second game first stock from Muteace was so good. I want to implement walking more into my playstyle...I think the main mistake I saw and don't want to make myself is falling for Link's ledge traps with bomb. A couple of times, including last game and stock, Mute neutral got up into the bomb, hoping to shield it. However, even if Mute does successfully shield the falling bomb, Link already has an arrow returning back and another bomb in hand ready to throw. There has to be a better solution. Maybe peach could roll? Or drop and wait and re-grab ledge? Or jump and float around the bomb? I am not sure, but I feel like neutral getup into shield is not the right answer.

it looks like it comes down to probability, one option to go around is ledge drop jump into airdodge, the timing gets you back onto stage and just barely avoids the aerial option/returning rang. If they call that out, you'd have to choose to roll (depending on which option ylink chooses) and hope they didn't read that. But yea if link fully sets up, it looks like you have to just get lucky and not get called out. For example, that last last stock, the only option muteace had was to slightly delay or IMMEDIATE roll

I said it once, I'll say it 100 more times. Peach struggles with Links...all 3 of them. Some more than others but they all have a + MU against her. Mute played really well though. GGs

Links, villager/Isabelle, bayo have great anti air against peach IMO. I’m sure there’s others but those especially I notice

As a toon link main, its pretty even most of the time, we zone better against peach but our disadvantage against her is absolutely abysmal

@@Balou_560 at the end of the day, it really boils down to the player & how much MU experience they have. I’ve ran into links that weren’t too hard to beat while others were a migraine. Toon link is definitely the worst link to fight tho .

@@tyreksurrell hm yeah i understand that, you dont run into tink everyday, so i can imagine the matchup inexperience is especially deadly. I mean on a typical basis where both players understand their opponent, its pretty even At the end of the day, if any side had an advantage, toon link would probably be winning 55/45 or mostly even
