Protest against wind turbines in the Reinhardswald: residents, conservationists and local politicians have been fighting for years against the construction of the largest wind farm in Hesse. The fairytale forest should be cut down in favor of climate protection. With demos, summary proceedings and lawsuits, the opponents successfully prevented the wind farm for 10 years. But is it all really just about nature and species conservation, or are there other political interests at play?
