@@theapple3160 Well, where is the push in the North which resurted to a weak center which resurted to Napoleon getting the high grounds? Where even are those high grounds in here?!?!?
Its not even remotely close. The austrians and russians had the pratzen heights. Napoleons right was weak so the coalition left attacked it and the center started moving off the heights. Then the french center attacked the weakened coalition center destroying it and cut their forces in half. Meanwhile the french third corps arrived to strengthen the french right. At the left the russians were checked by cannonfire and cavalry. Kutuzov ordered a retreat, but the losses were devastating, their left was surrounded, so they tried to flee through frozen ponds, the french opened a cannonfire on the lake to smash the ice, and a few dozen to hundred men and horses died.
The part about the lake is debatable. The ice could probably break only because of the weight of the soldiers. It's not certain Napoleon did use artillery on it.
@@superlulu5994 It's not debatable. The french used artillery on the ice, the thing is Napoleons propaganda said thousands died on the ice, which is false, the casualities were much lower than that.
All great and righteous empires needed a whole coalition to stop them. The joint romans and persians against the early muslims, the crusaders against the muslims, the crusaders against the ottomans, the coalition against napoleon, the allies against germany twice, nato against russia
@@kalajari1749 Half the ones you mentioned were alliances against alliances, NATO vs Warsaw Pact, Axis vs Allies, Triple Entente vs Triple Alliance. There were no crusades against the Ottomans. France and it puppets were all alone against Europe.
@@georgewashington8121 the napoleonic battles and all past battles had a short line of soldiers, it’s not a frontline but the battle does have frontlines.
@@LTorniALL the videos from this guy are VERY inaccurate! Like they have more troops in the part where they just had a little Bait than were they actually had the most soldiers😅
It is not like that. Napoleon allowed the Austro-Russian Coalition to occupy the Pratzen Plateau, Meanwhile Napoleon placed his main army on the high ground near Brno.Meanwhile, he placed his right flank along the villages of Sokolnitz and Telnitz. He used his right flank as bait and made it weaker.Seeing this weakness, the Austro-Russian Coalition attacked the French right flank, initially succeeding in repelling it, but Marshal Davout and his Corps quickly strengthened the French right flank.Making the coalition attack locked, while the Pratzen Plateau is now abandoned. Napoleon ordered his main army led by Marshal Soult to storm Pratzen with a surprise attack, causing Russia's solid defense to finally break. Napoleon then ordered them to attack the rest of the coalition locked in Sokolnitz and Telnitz.Seeing this condition, the coalition troops surrendered, some fled south through the frozen Satschan pond. Those who fled were then shot at with cannons
This layout is incorrect. Looks like there was no researcher or study done on the battle of Austrrliz. The southern battlefield was extremely one-sided. French holding out one to seven odds. While in the north, Napoleon had a faint, luring the enemy into the center and encircling them.
Napoleon’s left flank didnt engage until later in the battle and was hidden by the morning fog. He then moved his amassed reserves from the fog and attached the center and surrounded the russians. He moved UP to pratzen heights. The coalition had the high ground.
France is left, Russia is 🇷🇺 and Austria is the yellow and black one, but don’t trust to this video, it’s not even remotely accurate to how Austerlitz happened
If you surround your enemy and then have a line where you can allow your enemy to leave, but also with artillery just gunning their only escape route. You could achieve a total victory. In my head this makes sense anyone else agree?
My emperor was truly a masterchief of war even if i dont support any war Napoleon was just too good he Loss cause the russian (Only use the Uno reverse card Called Winter) And because he was in a 1v3 in Waterloo
