A nice little spot and nice weather for it too! A whistle from Tangmere and a horn from the 47 too!
I will mention that Tangmere's fire didn't look all too healthy on the approach to the station, with voluminous quantities of really black smoke coming out of chimney - not as apparent in the video as I cut it down to prevent the video being too long. Also she seemed a little reluctant to get away from the station, seeming to be coasting down the gradient, or maybe that power from the loco wasn't necessary due to the tight curves at the end of the station? Eventually we did get a couple of chuffs out of her. It also sounded to be at the end like the 47 gave a bit of a shove at the end?
