Ofc there were thousands of black troops, but back then they were not used to lead or be part of almost all of any decision making back then. In short, maybe people are upset that the black troops are being used out of context, so to speak, but they just cannot express this properly. The fact those poor men who fought for a land that wasent theirs never even got a full French army pension until the early thousands is absolutely disgraceful
even french ones had a misery as pension, my grandfather was drafted to fight two years in algeria and not only he didn't want to but had to do his duty like a man and he's got almost nothing as pension of retired soldier
That's why comparing to Stg44, even limited rifles like MAS 44 that is available in the multiplayer should've been "less inaccurate" had it dropped in the French campaign. Although in reality, only 6,300 rifles were delivered in 1945, one year after the campaign.
For those who are living under a rock, this is Battlefield V and and thr mission is called "Tirailluers" we're Senegalese Tirailluers prove themselves in the battle of france. Yes are weapons are lacking because Dice left out a lot of weapons for the French. So the developers over at Dice had to make dl.with existing weapons. And no this not a woke effort, this actually real. The Senegalese Tirailluers' story ended in a tragic and disgraceful manner. And yes the weapons are incorrect in some places, come on guys this is a Battlefield game.
100 000 tués dans l'armée française en 42 jours contre 7 à 8000 tirailleurs sénégalais ou Algériens, tunisiens. Non les troupes de tirailleurs n'étaient pas sous équipées. Tu racontes de la merde. Non les tirailleurs n'ont pas été envoyés à la boucherie à la place des Français, ils representaient à peine 5% des effectifs de l'armée Française. Ils n'ont jamais été maltraités par leurs officiers.

There were a very small number of, about 4,500, american blacks who fought in the legion for France. Almost all the other blacks that fought for the French and most on French soil were Senogolese. A colony of France and not French citizens. None of the numbers and getting deep into the facts really matter though. If you're an intelligent person capable of reason you are aware on an instinctual level that the developer of the game is trying to rewrite history. France has always been a country founded and occupied almost 100% by White men. The men who fought their wars were almost always White. The French Foreign Legion are mercenaries who gain citizenship after their mercenary contract is over. Like seriously, someone failed there grammer classes. You have no arguement and I'm sure are just as racist against Whites as the developer of the game. I for one will not be giving it any money or attention.
The battle of France or better know as the invasion of france was an event from ww2 where Germany broke through the maginot line because of a small gap om the Arden forests and a failed french counter offensive thus the French and the British were encircled and Paris fell France surrender in 2 months since the start of the invasion from may to june 1940 but the game depicts the battles of the African soldiers of france that participated on the liberation of France in 1944 during the end of the war idk why the creator put this wrong title
Folks go back to ww1 remember black American solder fought with the french and was not discriminated a lot of blacks stayed in France, Belgium, even Germany.
I love how the voice actors pronounce "Oui oui" as "wa wa", the rest though sounds normal.But who cares about mispronounciations? The game is still absolutely amazing!

your large FOV is killing the immersion and view over the landscape, while this is not competitive multiplayer to require such a large FOV from your side.
s'il est bien vrai que des troupes d'Afrique ont combattu en mai juin 1940, il est important tout de même de préciser que leur effectifs totaux n'ont jamais dépassé 5% du total de l'armée Française durant le conflit. Que seulement 8000 troupes coloniales furent tués en mai juin contre plus de cent mille Français métropolitains. La bataille de France fut rapide mais très brutale et le taux de perte tués/bléssés par jour fut supérieur à celui de Verdun ou de Stalingrade. Il y eu 420 000 tués et bléssés en 42 jours de combats dans l'armée Française. Cette animation est bien une tentative wokiste de réécrire l'histoire. Des Africains sous l'uniforme Français se sont battus, ils ont été courageux comme les Français eu même mais ils ont été très minoritaires en nombre.

Le taux ce pertes tués et bléssés par jour pendant les 42 jours de la bataille de France a été supérieur à Verdun ou même à Stalingrade. Bataille courte et brutale. Au fait, qui était au coté de la France en mai 1940 contre l'Allemagne ? Hormi les Britaniques qui ont été battu sur le sol de France aussi.
