Việc mỹ cấm vận dầu lửa nhật dưới con mắt Yamamoto thì mỹ đã tuyên chiến ngầm với nhật rồi, vì lẽ đó tôi đô đốc Yamamoto quyết định úp sọt mỹ 😂 giành thế chủ động trên chiến trường
Yeah I know that the Battle of Midway was the turning point. I meant my original comment metaphorically, because if you compare the US and Japan in terms of man and economic power and compare the war tactics and weapons between the two, Japan didn't really stand a chance of winning the war at all. So by attacking pearl harbor and starting a war with the US, Japan was set to lose the entire war.
The Battle of Midway was the real turning point. Funny thing is, Japan had 200 ships, while USA only had 78, yet USA rekt 4 Aircraft Carriers from Japan and caused severe damage to them. Then Admiral Nimitz decided to use the strategy of Island-Hopping, where they capture an island, establish a base there, then move on to the next one. The Doolittle Raids surprised Japan as Japan thought that USA will never bomb Japan because they will not have enough fuel to return. However, the USA flew over Japan and landed in China, even though it was risky for them as they might get captured by Japanese Forces there. However, they didn't give a bloody damn and went to bomb some cities of Japan. Japan had too many territories hence it was unable to defend against American Forces because they did not have many soldiers.
World War II was won by economic and industrial power, not by courage in battlefield. The japanese high command were still live in 19th century with samurai mentality inside them.

US Navy: Pearl Harbor is too shallow to be torpedo bombed from airplanes. Japanese Navy: Here hold my Saki. We'll just attach these wooden fins to keep the torpedoes from bottoming out on the harbor floor.
Now I understand the attack from a military perspective. But Japan considered the attack a failure because the uss enterprise and another carrier were not there.
Yes It's all because of the US government The reason is Japan intended the attack as a preventive action. Its aim was to prevent the United States Pacific Fleet from interfering with its planned military actions in Southeast Asia against overseas territories of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and those of the United States.
Well, you are sort of right. But Japan was at fault as well because the US did not like what Japan was doing to China. So they cut the export of oil in which Japan used. So Japan got very angry and attacked Pearl Harbor.
And yes, the Japanese destroyed some ships and planes to prevent the US from attacking, but Japan failed to destroy the carriers, which had more planes.
Japan never had a chance againts USA by military. US industry and resources are the biggest in the world, while japan needed its resources from southeast asia. Also the US will not make peace with japan after what they did to pearl. It was a big blunder for japan from the beginning to attack pearl harbour because it drag the USA directly to the conflict and make the Allies stronger than before. Japan should keep the US neutral by doing nothing to their interest, even though oil embargo were imposed on them. Just attack british malaya and dutch east indies but not the philipines and pearl harbour.
@@sophiadiaz2719 In the attack on Pearl Harbor, the fuel storage tanks of US ships and aircraft, the US Navy repair yards, and the US submarine base had to be destroyed.
What about the innocent Japanese people in Hiroshima? The American forces captured many Japanese in Okinawa, especially the US President's decision to use the atomic bomb against the civilians themselves. "Many Filipinos were pro-Japanese and There are a lot of Chinese who joined Japan and it's because of the Nationalists' alliance with the Communist Party of China. It was terrible because Who trusts communism nobody Uh !
Why not it is a preemptive strike to immobilize U.S Pacific Fleet without the enemy navy interfere Japan Imperial Army conduct a blitzkrieg attack and take all Asia in a week except for Australia.U.S is the one that force Japan to use heavy measure.
i like your videos, i find it really interesting and a great work with that footage, the only thing that pisses me off is your damn name at the top corner m8 get rid of that shit
And then firebombing of Tokyo in 1945 followed by 2 atomic bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Here is the whole result of Pearl Harbor attack. Worth it? I don`t think so. Japan underestimated the power of the USA at that time and, therefore, dragged Americans into WW2 so that was an additional massive military pressure on Axis power from the West flank. Could have avoided this well-unplanned mistake.
Antonio Cassano Thank you! Americans condemned Japan's imperial ambitions, even when they themselves had their very own imperial possessions. Talk about American hypocrisy and self-righteousness.
@Sarmatan Lehitus It was most certainly a battle, just not a fair one. We were caught by surprise but we didn't exactly just sit back and watch. Japanese soldiers did die from American resistance that day. We scrambled fighters to intercept the Japanese bombers and we had anti-aircraft guns below. The Japanese lost 64 men, 30 aircraft and 5 submarines during the hour and a half long battle. Nothing compared to American losses but still significant enough numbers to constitute it as a battle.
Military aggressions have always been the way of man, nothing has changed in all our recorded history. Countless battles and I doubt it will ever change. Imagine an advanced civilization from a distant galaxy considering our history, my my these war like beings had a special planet, and they totally blew it. They let jealousy, greed, self imposed importance rule them. I think we’ll leave them to their own devices. We wish civilized beings to share our universal knowledge.

@@makeitreal4848 The US only joined the war because of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Also, Japan executed POWs, committed all sorts of war crimes. They refused to surrender so we dropped the atomic bombs.
I hope Japan will take revenge on Russia that stole the Kuril Islands and Sakhalin island because The inhabitants of these islands are Japanese, that's why I hope that ! Glory to Japan
благодаря Америки Япония не стала изгоем и получила развитие и технологии, за что им мстить, тем более современному развитому обществу нет дела до мести и войн.
