Your gravy and mash looks miles better but in the usa our fries are also soggy, but they have this nice seasoning on them and atleast we get buttery biscuits instead of a bread roll!!! Maaaate!!!
I can relate. I’m old,school. I remember when kfc was simply amazing. I’m going way back to the early 80. That coleslaw, mashed potatoes and gravy and those strawberry parfaits(no longer around. KFC didn’t renew their contract with Sara Lee. Fuck them for that). Oh man! Thinking about opening the top of that bucket. Lawd have mercy! Dear god!

I prefer KFC as a restaurant, but that Red Rooster box is superior imo, KFC chicken can always be very hit or miss depending when you get it, and the chips/gravy aren't as good, KFC's strength is in it's cheaper price and superior burgers, however Red Rooster brings better everything in their box, and that rolls is mint, add an extra 50c for a chicken tender roll too!
It would be KFC for me, because they’re all over the place here and it’s what I grew up with. I’ve never had Red Rooster, but if we had one nearby, in North Carolina, I’d definitely give them a try. You haven’t played the American Mustard song, on your guitar lately. It’s one of my GregO favorites. 😎
Red Rooster is an Australian original. It started here in great WA. Western Australia. Quality chicken and its yummy. An Australian quality family favourite. The Southern states deserves this Aussie favourite.
The leg is my favourite piece! Always greasy and delicious. Leg, then wings, breast comes last - yeah there’s more of it but it’s not as tasty and there are more weird bones to you have to pick around
I had an awesome feed from kfc last night. Everything was on point too for a change lol. We don’t have red rooster but will have to try. Those magpies were funny too 👍😂

It's KFC all the way for me RR is never satisfying enough. Please Don't poison the wildlife Greg'o. The rubbish we eat isn't fit for animal consumption.
2 things- Firstly -kfc gravy tastes like that because it’s made with the fines from the fryers use to cook it Secondly -the most requested bits of chicken I find are thighs and legs so 🤷♀️
could you do a review on red roosters spicy fried chicken? ive tried it and its so nice. you should give it a go, it has a unique flavour that beats kfc by a mile
@@GregsKitchen I Pick them up like cats and feed them bread. That's only if they come to me though. Sounds like you have the same KFC chips as Sydney. Under cooked and under seasoned. We just got an air fryer and Aldi sweet potato chips were great done in the air fryer. what's the best frozen pie? Can you do a much needed pie off video. Anyone else find it suspicious Greggo drives around with scales in his car? The only people I know who does that are drug dealers, and a lot of the time you can find them in fast food car parks.
Given the KFC had larger packaging, the weight also included the napkin and cutlery, the chicken has bones contributing to weight which we don't eat and that you didn't eat their bread roll, I'd say the 100g weight difference between the products becomes negligible. Therefore give the win to Red Rooster
