They both sound pretty impressive comparing to the price tag they have. Been looking for some baked maple gear for quite a while. Thinking about buying that Jackson and upgrade pickups. Later, if needed, I can take care of tuners and trem. Think it worth the investment? Any suggestion what first should be changed? Thanks!
Hi mate. I fancy putting Dimarzio Super distortion bridge and Paf Pro neck! Perfect for retro rock vibes. I would also change the tuners. But a fantastic base for modding no doubt.
I’m heavily considering one of these two guitars. My local shop has a new 24 in stock and I found a very lightly used 32. I’ve heard the Floyd rose isn’t very good on the 32. The 32 is actually cheaper just because it’s used but haven’t heard the best things about the floating bridge. What do you suggest? Both look and sound great!
I,m a fan of two point trems, having been at Fender for 20 years!!! I had no problems with it, The only thing I might change is the tuners, to locking ones to add more stability? The Floyd on the 32 was fine , i strecthed the strings out and tightened it really tight and it worked fine. Super Distortion and a PAF pro might sound good?
What are your thoughts on the floyd rose for the JS series guitars? Is it a decent bridge? Or does it feel cheap and throw the guitar out of tune quick? Thanks!!
Hi Kyle....I didn't have any problems with the tuning. But bear in mind this is only a short time of use, and not live, so really you need to live with it a year or so before making any serious judgement I reckon. But it stayed in tune perfectly for this demo.
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers Thanks. I'm just worried that lower-end floyd roses might not go back to tune after using the bar alot with dives, squeals, etc. ..
@@mubtasimmahbub4785 hi there. I’ve not had any problems with tuning stability. But I only use it in The studio for some sessions, so not hasn’t been put gigging. Cool guitar though
I Love Jackson guitare JS 32 Floyd Rose black archtop i ave 3 guitare Ibanez grg 170dxl Yamaha rgx sj ans Jackson JS 22 dinky archtop and Jackson JS 32 wite a Floyd Rose archtop black mât Rock on forever Daniel from France
Thanks for the comparison video! What did you think of the JS 24s 2 point tremelo and whammy? Did the headstock curve pop the high E out of the nut place if you dive bombed pretty far? I heard some people changed to locking tuners for a better stability and a graphite nut to help with that string and nut friction. Just ordered one cause I like 2 points too and the beautifu red look. Also, your vid helped with the decision!
Hi dude. I try and avoid anything but a gentle wobble with the two point really. I think you are asking for trouble to dive bomb with it. But certainly a different nut would help, and locking tuners defo, but them you’re starting to add a lot more cost to the guitar, but it would stay more in tune. I fancy a 59 and a paf Pro in it?
@@damonthegnomeoftonechivers lol yeah I been testing the limits with this trem but never stays tune other than that great feel and sound. But yeah those pickups I bet would give this thing a boost!
I have both and I prefer the js24 The pickups on the js32 sound better but the Floyd rose needs an upgrade and I rather only upgrade the pickups on the js24 then deal with a Floyd again
@@billybat5790 that’s where I was leaning. Is the Floyd really that much of a pain? Maybe once I’m a more advanced player I can spend the money on a high end model with a better Floyd ?
Your talking nonsense Wood doesn't make any difference in tone whatsoever it's just a myth they'll sound the same as they have the same pickups. . There's a you tube video comparing lexan bodies with wood bodies with no difference, I've also seen a you tube video with an aluminium and glass fretboard's again no difference between that and wood .
