I have to ask what kind of prep was done before you did this test? I ask because I see so many swirl marks. The Mequirs is definitely a let down but it is a hybrid and not a true ceramic coat. I believe the Cerakote is marketed as a quick polish or maintenance item for use after their ceramic coating has been applied.
The paint on this truck was pretty bad and heavily oxidized when I got it. I buffed it some to make it look better, but didn't remove all the swirls. I applied the two products after the buffing for the test.
