BATTLE of the BLOWERS 

I have 2 of the BG55 and I think I will always keep one handy I'm convinced there indestructible! I have a couple of battery tools I'm starting to use that have proven themselves worthy, I can see battery only getting better in the future. Like the channel✔👍

Stihl Cost R3k plus more to run and maintain too. Would be interesting to know how the 18/36v battery operated blowers perform compared to these two.

Thanks Merrick, I have a cheap Ryobi petrol and surprisingly has lasted for more than 10 years with no major issues. My next one will be a Makita battery powered.

Petrol powered all day every day ! Just bought a Talon blower few weeks ago, could not find a Stihl in stock anywhere. So far so good !

I think if you already have an electric mower and trimmer the electric blower would make sense. But purchasing a blower and then having to spend another R700 - R800 on a 50m cord plus contending with load shedding, the petrol unit would win hands down in my view. I also have the exact same Stihl blower and probably one of my favorite tools.

Electric cabling in thicker gauges, that carry current well are not cheap and they are heavy. I have the Stihl Bg86 and just like yours, it takes a minute or so to run it's best and fastest.

Stay away from Ryobi. Die goed is kak.
