Yeah that 72 is pretty good. He's one of our regulars at Outlaw. Hope to be able to meet the two of you next week. Tried last year but it was a busy night on track. Good luck ahead of time Mike, I think you had a car that could've won last year just needed a few more laps. Hoping to get a tshirt also. Hope you have some big ones...😀
Im an old man that grew up watching the asphalt modifieds in the Northeast. I was watching some old races today and a highlight video from the 93 Race of Champions came up. I consider myself some what of a Modified historian so when I started watching it and saw the last couple of laps I was in complete shock. Billy "The Kid" Pauch WINNING the 93 Race of Champions driving the Mario Fiore number 44 !!!!! The man that made that car famous was leading with 10 laps to go. Reggie was passed by Ewanitsko with 8 or so to go and pulled away then OUT OF NOWHERE Billy took the lead in the 44 (on the last lap) to take the win. It was great!! I had no idea your Dad drove that car so I have to know, was that a 1 time deal or did he drive anymore races for Mario Fiore? Good luck to you and Mike this season : )
I'm from CT and asphalt modified's are my favorite, I work in NY and all the guys I work with love big blocks and 358. They made me into a dirt modified fan by just beating me down with the history and talking about it all the time lol
hello mandee ! hello mike ! awesome video mandee you do an amazing always i like the ideas of the cameras being in the car it s like you in the car with mike
Those two wide tracks are hard to pass on. The middle groove can be fast, but it typically takes a couple laps to clean up the groove. This track looks a little narrow to make the middle groove work. Good run!
Good job by the #35 team. At least the car is in one piece and you went forward. Stay safe and happy motoring. Hope to meet up with you next week at Outlaw?
yea he clobbered his back bumper a few times .i guess you replace those but you could piece those in ,make a little sleeve and hammer/tap it in and weld .to save some $
I can't wait to read your Dad's book. Hey your hubby needs to get more AGGRESIVE. HE was then he got back down low on the track and that ended that. He needs to get his groove back. Still rooting for you all. Season is young yet.
Dust reminds me of Flemington....fans put blankets over their windshields when they parked. Crew might consider wearing those dumb paper masks we all still have when they buff the tires. There's stuff in some of the tire compounds you don't need to be breathing.....just a thought :)
I love Accord. I use to go there a lot. I would wear saftey goggles. You ski goggles are surely better. You sure get dirty going there. The good old “Ulster County Bull Ring”
Go to Grandview in Pa. I hot belted by a huge stone and clay ball that flew off the track. They thought I got shot in the ankle. It took a huge chunk of my ankle with it. The ambulance person said they never seen anything swell and bruise that fast.
Yes, please video the book launch and tell us what the retailers are and how we can get the book asap. Will Racing 181 be handling it? Don't tell him but your husband has an infectious Smile and never seems to stop showing it. Sr. smiles most of the time, Jr. less, he frowns much for often, BP3, well he is BP3, but Mike, he doesn't know how to frown. Try to stay warm! 😀😃😀👍👩❤👨🍀🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞
I'm not positive about this, sooo. Let's say there's 5 heats. The people drawing 1-5 get 1st position in each of those heats. Those drawing 6-10 get the 2nd positions. 11-15 get the 3rds. Etc.
My biggest complaint with your videos Mandy, is that I already know what's happened before I even watch the video because YOU LEAVE NO MYSTERY, in your titles or thumbnail. It's like why watch the video if we already know Mike didn't have a good day or even if he did, I already know that too. Come mon' girl. Let us find out what happens watching the video without telling us before hand please.
Wow do you need someone to first jig that car, set it from roll over, toe, caster camber I guess the whole car. It seems like a train wreck off the truck. This is like weekend driving with sponsors. You better than that. You have one of the dirt track in the world, I think I would ask your father in law for help. That was a c- at best
