If there is not a Rain that comes from Rain Dance or comes from natural phenomenon of the battle area, Thunder has less chance to be successful, unless the user will use different attacks before it uses Thunder.
I know Technician well, an Aerial Ace boosted by that ability actually hits harder than X-Scissor when neither are super effective. Great battle though, this is just me looking very closely.

Why would Alakazam use Barrier against a Charizard?! That makes no freaking sense. If he just had used psychic 2 times he would have defeated that Charizard... I don't know what Blue was thinking man...
ever since I started watching some of the videos uploaded by this channel, it always made me ask what kind of strategy are you using? can't you change that strategy, because it does not even work? Here are my advice players of Pokemon: 1. Before you take on a battle, make sure whose first Pokemon you will be using in the first round. 2. Never changed your Pokemon in the middle of the battle, because you are just giving your opponent a chance to attack your new Pokemon twice. 3. As much as possible, never change your Pokemon while it's not fainted, even if its moves are not effective against your opponent's Pokemon and used them to weaken the newly sent out Pokemon. 4. Do not let your Pokemon held any item aside of the item that makes them stronger like if it is a Fire-type let it held a CHARCOAL, MAGNET for Magnemite and it's evolved form or Light Ball for electric-type Pokemon, etc. 5. During leveling them up, let them hold a Lucky Egg if it is available on the version you played so that your Pokemon can grow faster. 6. Lastly, as much as possible never taught your Pokemon a moves that, recharged after your Pokemon attack (e.g., Hyper Beam), that recoil (e.g., Flare Blitz), that needs preparation before it launched your Pokemon's attack (e.g. Solar Beam, Dig, etc.)
I really appreciate your response. Actually, this video was made a few years ago, I was very new to battling at that time. But I actually know some of the stuff that your mentioned, I was just trying to pull off a close match to make it more exciting to watch. This was a match with CPU, but I get more serious when I'm playing a really strong player.

Quality of video and content, as always flawless! Congratulations on the work! I did not believe in the final outcome. Better than any battle of the anime and that much worldwide challenge there. I thought that Red's mistake had been to bet on Thunder more .. But the end of Charizard made him the MVP of the game! Persian was the biggest asset too! In short, the battle was excellent! I can not wait for this next!
And this is why Thunder should never be used. Only reason Charizard survived was Alakazam.exe malfunctioned at the worst possible time. Who the hell uses barrier??

Not really, Arcanine landed a high roll on the second fire blitz, it dealt 50% hp on the first one, and after lapras' leftovers she should have lived another, it was pokémon luck shenanigans But it made for a cool video and made for a cool battle filled with highs and lows, that persian pulling that Last Resort on a charging Solar Beam Exeggutor was pure anime (I could even picture the exeggutor releasing the beam into the sky, after being smashed into a wall lmao) Man I love pokemon
I still believe red is ash ketchups ancestor he was the first to complate the poke dex first one to get in the hall of fame and obtained mega evoulution why red vanished is beyond me refering to his special by the way
