MAC Chestnut is in every single purse I own. Also at 48 I look younger than I did at 28 because at 28 I had on 4 different shades of eyeshadow, lined lips and all the foundations, no shine anywhere. Now I wear lashes with primer, a bit of concealer under the eyes if needed, a hint of blush and a strong lip.
I'm in Gen Z and I really enjoyed this video!! Not only because it's interesting to see the comparisons, but because you didn't insult or put down a specific generation or anyone who participates in the trends.
I worked in the cosmetic field fora no of years, some of the most flawless shin I've ever seen, was by women who used Fashion Fair, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden and shisheido skin care routines. A lot has changed with these lines over the years though. Fashion Fair was my go to for makeup though, colors were most suited for women of color 😊
Recently found your Channel... you are an awesome content creator and presenter, love how you keep it real, bloopers and all😅. Love the hair care videos also. You go girl!❤
For my Pamela Anderson is the 90ies icon. The extrem thin eyebrown, dark black raccon eyes with frosty white eyeshadow, dark lip liner and light lips. And of corse the trible tattoo 😅
Chile tis is well researched I haven’t heard of some of these people or cosmetics companies! The 80s is my favorite! Not the current picture of Madonna for the 80s!! I can’t! 😂❤
Ok so I wore nearly every hairstyle you mentioned for the 90's/gen x. I'm not technically Gen X anymore, but we were not being called millennials during the late 1990s when I was a teenager. We were still called Gen X and my little brothers born in the mid to late 80s were considered Gen Y. They changed the dates and titles on us later.😆 Nice to see how on-trend I was with my butterfly clips, flat twists, box braids, flipped relaxer, french roll and chopsticks. Almost every over 30 lady at church was wearing crispy finger waves, wraps or french rolls. You also forgot to mention the popularity of the straw set and shirley temple roller set of the early 2000's.
I'm Gen X. I think Boomers were overall more classy with fashion & presentation. However, every day I do my makeup like I'm going to be an extra in Love Jones, Waiting to Exhale, or a So So Def video. (Not them thin brows though)
I’m a Boomer from the 70-80s. I thought the makeup made them look like clowns. I decided to wear natural makeup. It was hard to find with the popularity of the clown look. They even had clown clothes. One sleeve purple, the other green. It was horrible. I ended up taking a sewing class. I call the 80s the clown decade.
I feel like Pam Anderson was one in the 80s and 90s the bleach blonde hair and that eyeliner look. Just straight up sex icon. Sorry if I offended anyone
May i ask a question and i ask this to everyone who talk about generan z,xand millanio what generation is the one that borne in1990 far as now no one answer me
A Millennial is anyone born between 1980 and 1995. A member of Gen Z is anyone born between 1996 and the early-mid 2000s Gen Alpha is the most current generation
