Imagine if The Rise of Skywalker had a completely different ending. Where Rey is in no way a Palpatine or Skywalker, but, maybe, a Kenobi. With Snoke's death and Ren becoming the SL, the FO / Resistance war reaches it's final stages with both sides clashing in one final battle over Coruscant, where, possibly, technologies of the old come in, as, for example, the Venators or others. As the two fleets clash over the Capital, both of them resort to more and more violence, as more and more ships arrive. Not only the Venators are in the fight now, but the Providence Class cruisers and Recusants too. Aboard Ren's flagship a final duel commences. You yourself choose between who and who, as I don't think Rey is fit for it. But, possibly, Anakin's force ghost comes in. Coruscant is on fire, ships are tied in frenzied combat, as TIE fighters and X-Wings screech in the space. One final battle for the fate of the Galaxy far far away.
This theme uses almost all of the other themes that made up the Star Wars saga at the time. You can hear Duel of the Fates, Imperial March, Binary Sunset, and so many other themes in this one piece. This was going to be the last Star Wars movie, and Williams took all of it and went out with a bang in this theme here.
"I have failed you Anakin, I have failed you." "I should of known the Jedi were plotting to take over!" "Anakin! Chancellor Palpatine is evil!" "From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" "Well then you are lost!" has to be one of the most iconic lines in Star Wars history. :'(
