Some games have more mobility on the line than others but most games end with one or 2 trench lines being the main part of the fighting. I have no complaints as the battles are hard fought and the community is pretty respectful in my experience.

I love all these games, Verdun,Tannenberg and Isonzo all awesome. Verdun is my first one and I love hiding in fort douamont when it’s foothold over time

All 3 of those games aim to and provide a totally different experience than this game, All 3 also have a better movement system and are more polished, Complaining about them hogging the spotlight is kinda pointless, since they’re not the same theme or genre, so even if they weren’t verdin would still be un affected

It would be sitting on a trench trying to not get the Spanish flu or any other sickness hoping the trench bunker doesn’t fall on your head during a cannonade for like a year or so until some side decides to attack and the other side starts to use MGs on them and also not getting gassed yeah that’s why there isn’t a realistic ww1 game it would suck
It would likely be more than gunshots most of the time, from what ive seen there shoud be loud bangs from artillery and maybe more screaming, but I'm not sure.
Excellent clip. I also just started playing, on PS4, and both as a FPS game lover, and as a WW1 history nerd, I am enjoying the ever-loving shite outta this game! I, also, like a couple others I've seen on here, kinda want to start doing content for the game; if only to make an include more stuff on each Squad and loadouts, etc.. I just played for the first time last night. Felt good. Re-read crouch comment from ewrwr, and caught that they said crouch "run" -- like in Hell Let Loose. In the one match I played, I didn't find that necessary. Hell Let Loose has it for moving across the massive maps.
I have both of them, in my opinion they are both good games, one is historically accurate and realistic,and it is for who likes this kind of fps, and the other one is more fast paced, so more people can enjoy it.
😂😂 friendly😂😂. You peak you head over a trench and your heads gonna get blown off. This game is not friendly 😂. Gas attacks, mortar barrages, you run across a field and a snipers probably got a scope on your head. If anything battle field is too friendly giving everyone some smgs and mgs. This game basically shot battlefield in the head 17 times, then dismembered it, then stole its wife.
I was about to buy it just to try it since I haven't seen any COD with ww1 story mode, but the game looks rly dull, no characters talking or anything. Some people will find this realistic, but one thing is being realistic and another one is being a completely mute/only shooting game.

The graphics may not be that good ,there are no horse or tank/aircraft/ship play, but Verdun seems and feels like accurate historical WW1 Gameplay with intensive tactical trench defense and assault along with not rushing no man’s land

IMHO this is why Battlefield should stick with Veitnam-Future wars because automatic weapons are more common (WW2 maybe an exeption but bolt action/semi auto Rifles still dominated the war) And this is why COD should never make a WW1

Every big victory at verdun was done by colnial troops (most fights and the final capture of fleury, mist of the 34 attacks at thiaumont , recapture of fort douaumont etc )
