Hey Andrew. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It’s very detailed. When you bought the equipment from Laser Tag Pro, was there any sort of documentation or notices about reselling equipment? Any restrictions or even fees or costs to either you or the buyer???
We've contacted the company inquiring about refurbished laser tag guns a while back. They warned that buying Battle Company/Laser Tag Pro guns from anyone besides them will have to pay a yearly service fee. To waive the fee, you'd have to purchase several guns from them directly. It wasn't a deal-breaker for us but just be aware of that added cost.

I have visited the battle company website but its complicated and it doesn't seem to show all the products available like grenades or other cool accessories not to mention that i cant even place an item in the cart to see the price. But i now have enough information to give them a call thanks to you.
Hi Andrew, not sure if you will see this comment since your video was posted 3 years ago. Just in case: One, just a thank you for posting the video and providing all of the information. It is very informative and helpful. Two, we purchased some equipment last month that we want to use both indoors and outdoors. I was wondering if you could recommend any storage containers that worked well when you had your business? I am looking for something that is rugged and easily mobile (wheeled, etc). Also interested in creating some sort of rifle rack system that will hold a certain number of rifles, and possibly an integrated charging station with all of the chargers connected to a long surge protector. Any thoughts/advice? Thanks.
I recommend posting this to a Facebook group on the topic for more info. Tactical Laser Tag Operators is good. Hopefully, you will not need to charge in the field. I had a 20 point charging strip from Harbor Freight at home for charging. I do recommend some sort of rack for display and drop off. Big storage bins work for transportation. I didn't feel the need for anything fancy but have seen more elaborate transportation setups. Keep it simple if you ask me. Thanks
@fiarchild cppo please help... How do i utilize the Battle Rifle Pro out of the box? As in, without Edge software and just a simple TDM or something...
What happens when EDGE goes down during a play session? What does setting up 12 taggers manually look like to keep your customers playing and happy? Time wise?
Sorry Richard. Out of the loop for too long to provide a current answer. I recommend directing questions to the operator or manufacturer Facebook groups.
Each tagger has been pushed the game mode parameters at the beginning for the game, and run their own game timers. The game will finish at this game time even if EDGE went down, or the tagger went out of range. If EDGE does come back online, I have seen the taggers connect again, however that game lobby in EDGE has been lost, and you will not see scoring results on the digital signage screen. You will still see individual scoring on the tagger screen.
I assume that link will be dead before too long. The prices have likely changed. The BRX is aimed that the retail customers. You will find that few commercial laser tag vendors publish prices due to competition and the need to adjust prices.
BRX is their retail option. With a cellphone using their Callsign app, you can control and launch games and manage your taggers. The BRX rifles also have several built in games that are easier to change to making them more tailored to retail users. Im sure that BattleCompany anticipates that only arena operators would purchase the actual LTP rifles as they're rather limited without a subscription of EDGE software.
Yep. Commercial grade gear is not cheap to maintain after the warrantee expires. From my experience I would be surprised to see 12 fail if handled properly. I'm not sure what 'starting to fail' would look like...it either works or it doesn't I recognize your frustration but this isn't the best place to vent. I'm out of the biz but happy to chat on FB if it would help.
