Dude what timing you have! I just came across your previous two vids on the battleaxes. You convinced me to make a Crystal Battleaxe! It is a MONSTER at cutting tree farms down. I use Krom for combat but the axe is a great backup.
@@WafflesGamesProbably Yeah dude you should try it! 1. Plant a bunch of trees as close together as possible. 2. Grab the Elder power. 3. Turn on extremely heavy metal music. 4. Skál!
With the seeker soldier, could you stand with your back to a pillar while you block so that you don't get that big knock-back? That might allow you to start your swing right away instead of running back up to the seeker soldier, and you may be able to get an extra swing in.
I did notice that! Sadly not really in the moment, but when I was in the edit! It really did seem like an effective way to not get knocked back an entire damn football field...
The slow debuff for the axes and mauls sucks but probably only thing keeping them from being totally op... I think it was Henrik did a full playthrough using axes/battleaxes. Everyone has their own style! Also, Root Harnesk for seekers 😂
That would be a fun idea! An Axes Only playthrough to become familiar with the unfamiliar! Or maybe a "slow weapons only" playthrough. Axes, baxes, sledges, and KROM!
It is great seeing these creatures in good lighting! Great job on the demonstrations! Ps…The golem trophy is another thing you can hide under some chests for the “ice box” illusion. Plus, your food won’t spoil😉
I will always be an advocate for the Battle Axe. Satisfying once you get it down, and the Crystal one is beautiful. Edit: Why not make the pillars in the arena black marbke to make them harder to break?
That would make sense but the stone kind of fits the theme and I like the aesthetic. Usually they're fine if I repair them often enough, but yeah black marble would make a lot of sense! And maybe they'd look good too!
Nice video i appreciated the fact that you started using biome appropriate food. Even if, as you say, your video are not "scientific" i think it's the right choice
I've come to agree with that for sure. At first (at the beginning of the channel), I didn't even really think of it, but the comments made it much more prevalent in my mind and yeah it's important! And aside from making the skill levels reasonably appropriate (way too annoying to deal with), it's the best way to make it a fair fight.
Waffles do battle arena challenge using only fists and flesh rippers. Remember that with bare fists you can use a shield to parry. What comes to flesh rippers you can stunlock most enemies by using the secondary kick attack and then doing 2-hit combo. It is duable even against starred seekers but all high HP mobs can be a problem because they have very high stagger limit.
Hate to admit it but you're actually getting better at this fighting thing! I do have one small comlaint though, this is NOT the full lumberjack experience as you are not actually wearing women's clothing 😉
