I would even go as far as saying that its OP, without much effort i got 140 kills with it (on valley), feels too strong. They should atleast limit all the DMRs to only being played on recon.
I think the reason it's given to other classes is to give them all a long range option on open maps, i.e. your engi will need to be picked to rpg vehicles, but dmr allows it to have a primary that also works. The only class you can't run it on is support, which makes sense, because exo helm + DMR is going to beat a bolt action rifle every time lol
I'd respectfully disagree, that 2 hit is only against unarmoured, and 3 shot kill with m110 is awfully slow. See my ttk analysis section for my full argument on why i like the mk20's dps profile more
My goto gun on engineer when the old style tank+sniper maps come up. Great range, not terrible up close. It's the most SCAR-H like dmr. It's going to be weird if they roll out the health changes they were talking about since DMRs are so picky about damage.
It feels like a scar H because it is a variant of it! It's good game design if you thought that 😁 Yeah, things can definitely switch up in a big way. Bit of a joke as I've gone through over half the guns now and all that work would be invalidated T.T
m110 is coming next as I know it's the most popular DMR due to this 2 hit, spoiler though: my beef is the bodyshot is unreliable between 2 hit (very good) and 3 hit (awfully slow), and if you're doing headshots, again the MK20 seems to do similar but fires much quicker. Midway through collecting my clips for that one!
I hate to admit that MK20 is really good, previously I used mbr but it was not enough then I switched to m10, it's great but after several times mk20 became my most used dmr, SVD was my fav but the damage rendered me useless

I'd guess then that battlebit only takes into account your currently equipped weapon and armour modifiers. It's understood that different weapon classes have different modifiers, so a 1.05 SMG moves quicker than a 1.05 AR, which explains why you run quicker with the pistol out than the DMR. I'd guess the formula is: Base Speed * Equipped Weapon * Backpack * Helmet * Chest
MK20 is really good at close range with good positioning while m110 is incredible obnoxious op at far range once you get the stabil grip and long suppressor , the SVD is jack of all trade with fastest TTK of DMR although i do wish they gave quickmag to svd aswell bcs of how terrible the reload time is. Another aspect of how broken the dmr is that it counter recon hard by simply there no glint on medium scope making it effective if using class like assault.
An average DMR is going to beat an average recon player, but a good recon is going to beat a good DMR player every time! DMR's can't be used with EXO helms thankfully so recons should always win unless there's a skill difference
Thw MK20 has the fastest fire rate though? It's great at medium range. It shoots with every click, no delay. I think you've confused it with the M110, it has slow fire rate, 1-2 shot kills.
MK20: 350rpm MK14 EBR: 400 rpm SVD: 440 rpm All achieving a 3 shot body kill, this is what I was comparing it to. And yes, my point was you still fire it as quick as the others at range but it's headshot bodyshot combo can kill snipers better. Sorry for confusion!
Yeah agree, M110 has highest damage, I often 1 shot to the head somehow, but slow fire rate, useless in close quarters. I use the MK20 like a semi auto battle rifle, often out sniping snipers too as I can pin them down with constant fire. It's great how battle bit have balanced out all of the guns.
If you're a foot fetish guy, then ye, M110 all the way. You won't typically get that "luxury" if they're leaning or peeking out of a barricade though - Each to their own! 🤣
@@ClippyTacticalI understand, though most of guys I confront with barricade is sniper, and duel with them may cause me HS. Inf not come close to me much to use barricade, so I find their feet then.
Their ttk is worse up close, and ofc don't have the one shot kill that means a good Sniper is always better than them, but yes, when used properly they can be a bit oppressive due to the ease of use

Great video! I main both the MK20 and the M110 and the times that i ended up +60 Kills in some maps with the M110 is crazy, maybe the slow fire rate and the +3 shots to kill armor is discouraging, most of the times in heavy combat zones you will not see all the people with their armor still holding, and you can get 2 shot kills consistently, more even if you have the aim to hs and the small brain to just run and put yourself in the worst spots to the enemy, another great thing with the MK20 is that it has the same velocity that the L96, so switching between dmr and sniping is so easy
The problem is the difference between 2 and 3 shots is so much with it's low rof. If the enemy isn't wildly out of position they will just hide. It also can do the same 2 tap against snipers but slower. Feels better against unarmoured but less consistent all round
@@ClippyTactical Yeah, what i noted is that the enemy is not always just spawning back but reviving, more in high traffic zones and not controlled by them, surely is not the weapon but how the people play with it, the playstyle, agreed 100% with the consistency, maybe if whoever wanna use the M110 and they learn the map and the zones in wich they can abuse it, they can like more the M110, js!
It's a good stepping stone to learn sniping! The velocity matches sniper rifles and the fairly reliable headshot bodyshot against snipers trains you to go for Headshots.
Thanks haha, i've noticed a trend of waki 128v128 being a super easy place to get "impressive" montage clips for these vids tbh, as you have that many people together and it's quite easy to get a sequence that looks nutty like this if you keep at it!
