Blizzard unlocked gaming. Blizzard was the reason online gaming got to be so big. Blizzard inspired competitive gaming large scale. Be happy that blizzard gave us what it gave us and watch it die and burn in hell like it needed to for years.

I met the guy that does Tychus voice in SC2 at Comic-Con 2010! The guy is freaking awesome and he gave me his autograph and personally said to me "Hell it's about time". God these voice actors work their asses off and they don't even get the kind of attention they deserve. They deserve more!
I adore Metzen. Figments of this guys mind have defined my childhood. Without his enthusiasm Blizz has crashed like Norad, with Kotick for Mengsk to the rescue.
It sounds cool because it sounds like a typical russian accent speaking english in old good movies 80-90th. We grew on this movies, it shatters our memories...
tazeris Why would you need carriers? The fact that goons are so inexpensive compared to BC and you can micro them effectively so your BC can't kill any (because you are not going to survive long enough to build more than one), makes BC useless in TvP. You can also use high templars... what are your BC's do? You can kill them with yamato or even aa but you are going to get stormed. I mean, if you were able to win a protoss with BCs, you could have beat him with virtually anything. You could definitely get an advantage and try to get BCs but you would lose opportunities to finish to get bigger advantages.
tazeris But that doesn't make much sense. There is a lot of other enjoyable units, specially in protoss. You have the templars and archons, also the reaver, which are going to be easier to get than carriers. Carriers are nice when having ton of them, but really, at the end, the game is more fun after giving it a thought, it's not an RTS for nothing. And I still play this game. It's not something from the past for me. I still play LAN. I don't understand why winning is the opposite of enjoying the game, though. You can enjoy the game and win (or try to win) without any problem. Actually, when the game doesn't have objectives or when you don't try to get them, then the game gets boring. And building dragoons doesn't mean winning, and you can build BCs all you want, that's not going to make them incredibly powerful. You are implying they are powerful because you think they can beat an specific unit (which is false btw, 6 carriers beat 6 BC no questions, you can micro the carriers so the BCs never catch up, you may kill one with yamatos, but that's it) which is not logical.

he's famous in the world of gaming.and ofc even more famous among people who play blizzard games. so yeah when he goes into 'role' in a convention,people will cheer.
