First off this battle was intense from start to finish. The crowd mad no noise to pay attention to every single move. Both these guys went in. But Premo got that one. Mad Hatta is a insane dancer though. 💯
Gotta give this to Premo. I think where Madhatta went wrong was with song selection. Even though his 2nd round was his best, if he went back to a krump tune for his third, it would have made this battle more of a debate. I feel his hat tricks look more polished when he's krumping and it compliments his style well. Premo's 1st and 3rd round was vintage premo. Dude was on attack mode and was even freestyling. Very good battle overall, love the intensity. This gave me that old battlefest feel.
By far the best comment ever. This is my exact thought. Premo 1st and 3rd was wild. I said if maddhatta would've followed the 2nd with a Krump track then it could've been either way.
This being my first BattleFest it was actually insane. My hand still a lil burnt from trying to catch the hat 😂 but gotta go 2-1 Premo. That 3rd shutdown was crazyyyy. Mad love to MadHatta truly opened my eyes to the NC scene but the grasshopper wasn’t ready for the master 🙌🏼🔥
I think Premo took that one since he had some solid stuff. Madhatta was good with some of the concepts but he had more resets. More body krump with the hats would've been the killer
Round 1: Premo (Solid round from both, but preferred Premo) Round 2: Maddhatta (Madd had a couple drops, but to me the moment you lose a hat with an active firework on it into the audience it's an L) Round 3: Premo (both had drops, but I liked Premo's concepts better) Winner: Premo Solid battle, well done to both

I'm not gonna lie I felt the crowd overhyped Premo. When you break it down Premo was doing a bunch of tricks and crowd pleasers one after another but no character concepts and image so I feel alot of OG's would give it to Twin Madhatta but crowd vote would be Premo. I swear no one caught the "follow me" concept he did with the hats that was literally madness ...
Yeah for all the people talking about Maddhatta's Versatility( He should have stuck to more krumping) and Premo's Hype( He's earned all that hype) and what not. Maddhatta is a carbon copy of Premo with a dash of showoff. He literally took premo style (Yes go back in time Premo made this style of hat tricking up, this is almost considered a "reset" or "Set up") and tried to demand respect for it. at 13:20 Maddhatta also took one of showoffs moves for like 2016 lol, He's good at hat tricking but it's not original, nothing different he just adds krump and switches to hat tricking. He was cool but Premo won with HIS style.

Round 1 - Maddhatta , Premos was going off hype which wasnt the right move when it comes to be more technical within the dance style thats being battled/showcase. Maddhatta hit his style perfect this round. both drops a hat . round 2 - I feel bad for premo this round bc he obvi doesnt have the technical exp in dancing to match Maddhatta's dancing ( even tho Hatta is holding back and its obvious he is ) Round goes to Maddhatta swagged that one out odee round 3 - We didnt need a 3rd premo lost Madhatta 3- 0

@@oniade8950 show what to you? History? Flexers did not invent hat tricks, Bboy’s, poppers and lockers have been doing this stuff since the beginning. Dance isn’t bringing anything new under the sun. It’s just more detailed and expanded upon.
delivered different my guy two different styles premo is more heavy on tricks than dancing maddhatta is more on dancing than just tricks. there is no credit for simple tricks delivery on music etc it all plays a part.

Premo got that! u already 😤🔥🔥🔥. Super smooth seamless hat tricks , and creative all around. Shouts to both dancers though , good battle. Loved Madhatters first round , I feel like he should’ve stayed in his Krump world more for the battle , cause that really shined light on his style with the hats. I feel like he tried to assimilate and got burned out as the battle progressed. Premos hat flow is super fire
I say draw off first watch I was gonna edge it to Premo but there was ALOT of hat drops in the last round. Both dancers did well and put on a classic salute to them and Battlefest.
Let’s be real, just like connecting hat tricking has some common traditional practices. I do think Maddhatta did Dru move intentionally meant to be a single move it was a set up for another move or bar. I don’t think that’s copying he was sequencing that move to set up for another.

IMA HAVE TO GO 2-1 PREMO , I really like Mad Hatta musicality and not just sticking to hat tricks and mixed it up but had some drops. Premo did as well but he just had too much heat, his concepts and the difficulty in those hat tricks were crazy! S/O battlefest league too ! YEEEE
Great battle but def Premo represented. Loved both the styles. But Madhatta second round had good tricks but some of those moves we have seen from flexers. His third round had some highlights but he started to dry out. First round was his best. Premo 1st and 2nd tho a lil sloppy was goooodd.
Dope battle my vote goes to Premo mad hatter looks nice with our material not bad for a Krumper doing our hat style gotta be more original next time around
Premo aka(Hotsause) won to me because he had Way more creative ways of using the hat🧢 than his opponent and the punches lines landed more damage in my opinion
First off, Premo won. And give credit where credit it due. This hat thing is a FLEXN STYLE! It’s ok to be influenced by Flex. But Brooklyn originated that style. Maybe come learn the sauce before trying to claim you made something different.
