I've noticed the huge difference between PC & console players in Battlefield games when it comes to jets & planes, etc. It's probably harder to learn on PC if you have only played console, but when it comes to maneuvering and evading, etc., PC players make it look easy. As someone who's a decent pilot on the Xbox, playing BF 4 and 1, still some of the moves the PC players pull off, unfortunately, console players can't, despite sensitivity being on full, which is what mine is. The effortlessly looping and 180s with sheer ease on PC give the illusion that console players can pull off the same tricks, but if you put a console jet player against a PC jet player, the PC player will win. And that's coming from me (Xbox player). The tips, etc., in the video can help someone who might just be getting into jets, planes, etc. So overall, still good work, bud.
Honestly, I think it's mostly an illusion from the FOV difference and perhaps that PC players play in a more competitive environment more consistently which forces PC players to push themselves
I agree wíth you, when BF1 was at its peak i had the top 2% stats on figther plane, here in brazil, i was addicted, had lvl 50 all the stars, i merged to pc recently and when i encounter a good pilot i simply can't fly more then 30 sec, tried the sense on max too but it doesnt work as good as mouse and keybord, its so frustrating seeing years of muscle memory and flying on bf1 wasted when playing on pc, im flying on an empty server to try the settings and i look like a completely noob lmao, I can't decide whether to die to any competent pilot on controller or just learn it ALL over again 😂
i still struggle turning from being hunted into the hunter. too bad you're aren't on ps4 for teaching ;) but thanks for your vids matti. i try to take as much info from them, to become a better pilot :)
@@iiTzHaroon being a good pilot takes an immense amount of skill and it’s always 0 luck unlike infantry. And u need to appreciate your pilots more. Air superiority is very important in this game
Destroying wings and tails just takes time and practice. No special tricks here. You have to fine tune your aim to hit those specific parts on the plane so practice aiming for wings and tails instead of center mass, and you will get it.
It's mostly about judgement calls, I see no reason destroying the wings on anything but an attackplane with no passenger (this will prevent him from successfully seat switch) I normally go for the center of the plane to not only hit with more bullets but also to kill the players in the plane
I loved flying in Planetside 2, but Battlefield games (all but the BF Heroes) I suck at flying. Have you ever tried to set up BF flying to mimic Planetside 2 flying?
Been waiting for something like this for a few tips, Thanks! do you have any tips/plan on releasing any on when to break/when not to while manoeuvering? I still struggle with this slightly while having the upper hand sometimes.
Hi, you say to maintain cruising speed when chasing a plane but what if the plane infront is slowing down or speeding up? then surely you must adapt to follow his speed? I play on xbox and i find i do pretty well in a plane (around 25 service stars with fighter and rank 24 pilot) but i still struggle when I come up against certain players in dogfights, i rarely manage to end up behind the plane that is following me and have to lose them and come back. Great videos btw and nice flying!
Switch when on top off the loop or at the bottom off the loop because then you are out of his sight, if he is right on your tail do rolling scissor, that shakes off most unexperienced pilots.
